    Flaws:

    • pumping out money
    • the price is incorrect
    • weak materials

I ordered materials for learning business English. I don’t understand why people are fooled, they indicated the price was 209 UAH 9 promotion), but in the end I had to pay 276 UAH. They said over the phone that I had paid the entry fee, but on the website they indicated that the payment was without an entry fee. I've never seen such a scam before. And I would value books at a maximum of 20 UAH.

    Advantages:

    • Price only

    Flaws:

    • waste of time

European School of Correspondence Training, I took courses from this school two years ago, frankly a waste of time.

I took the office manager course, almost everything I read there, I already know from the Internet, it feels like they didn’t write a training course, but how to behave if you are an office manager, there are no specifics.

This is what this course looks like, they probably hired psychologists to make it, who conduct empty conversation in the course, about how not to feel overwhelmed and so on, in general, complete nonsense. Constantly the same letters with discounts that they send to me by mail.

To be honest, these discounts are all the time, but they write that there will be a discount for only 10 days, don’t miss the opportunity. I used to laugh somehow, but now I’m sick of all the actions and nonsense that is there in every phrase.

In addition, they constantly bothered me with their calls until I lost my phone, the number of which was recorded in their customer database. Moreover, they call all this caring for their clients, but we don’t need such annoyingness.

I also remember at the beginning, I saw an advertisement from them that you could become their consultant, so after I saw the conditions, I changed my mind and refused. The main condition was, if I’m not mistaken, to find ten students every month, it really scared me, such a requirement.

I want to say one thing, I will under no circumstances take any course there again and will not recommend it to anyone. This is my opinion about this school, but of course it’s up to you to decide!

    Advantages:

    • Flexible training schedule
    • useful
    • if you really study.

    Flaws:

    • Too expensive!

Early 2000s... After graduating from school, 11th grade, I could not decide on my future profession. Before entering a university, I was going to enroll in several courses at once, get a couple of unrelated specialties, and then decide exactly what was really “mine.” But... A person assumes, but circumstances dispose. It didn’t work out with the university for financial reasons, so I went to work. I spent my first money on ESHKO courses.

Due to lack of time to attend face-to-face courses, I decided to study remotely. I ordered several free trial lessons - about 7, they arrived within a month. When you received it at the post office, you didn’t have to pay for anything, the “trial” ones were 100% free. I signed up for those who were interested, becoming a “student” of ESHKO. I signed up at the post office - filled out the form and sent it by regular mail. Parcels with lessons arrive every month by mail, paid for by cash on delivery. So, you won’t be able to get the courses without paying for them. In the first package you receive a “contract”, and then you send it by regular mail. In the contract you indicate your passport details, then you are assigned a student number. Each package, in addition to the main material (magazine with a lesson), contains an empty envelope - for sending for homework checking. And an audio cassette if this is a language course. At that time there were still audio cassettes, yes, yes).

I would not say that ESHKO is a complete deception and fraud. This is wrong. The lessons are quite informative and well-written. If you are not lazy, study EVERY DAY, don’t give up, in six months to a year (depending on the course) it is possible to gain real knowledge! Daily classes, optimally, for an hour. About 20-30 minutes a day - this is a lie, of course. But there is also a significant drawback in the correspondent education system. This is the financial side. Each course consists of many lessons, which means many premises. Each package costs money: lesson + postage + stamp on the envelope for sending for homework checking. The amount came out to be a tidy sum each time. You can buy the entire course at a time with a small discount (if finances allow) and only submit your homework for checking every month. Upon completion of the course, the student receives a certificate. It has no legal force and it is unlikely that you will be able to get a job by presenting it. It’s more like this, for yourself, your small victory... Now, in the era of the Internet, this form of training is no longer relevant, I think. It’s not worth paying a lot of money, as it was 10 years ago, for ESHKO courses.

This is a complete paragraph. Boring, stupid and uninteresting. Plus it's expensive

    Neutral reviews

    Advantages:

    • will teach everyone and everything if you want it yourself

    Flaws:

    • prices are a little high

I used it myself (I took a French language course) and really liked it. Firstly, you don’t need to go anywhere, everything is sent home to you. Secondly, there are discs that allow you to listen to foreign speech. Thirdly, you can call your teacher if you have any questions. Of course, the grammar here is rather weak: general information is given, but this is quite enough for communication. But it definitely helps to enrich your vocabulary. The main thing is to treat all tasks conscientiously. I would like to add that almost all my friends took at least some ESHKO courses and they really liked it, and most importantly, they found it useful.

I studied English and a management course with ESHKO... I really like it, everything is easy, simple, understandable... and most importantly, not expensive! The only thing that bothered me was the constant trips to the post office.

I studied at ESHKO for 1.5 years in the “Spanish for Beginners” course. I studied Spanish solely for myself, on a whim, and had no intention of using it anywhere. What captivates is the price. Especially if you get to some promotions. Personally, I paid 700 rubles a month including postage. Considering that in our city the services of a tutor per month for 8 lessons cost at least 2,500 rubles, the savings in this case are not bad. In addition, you borrow when it’s convenient for you, no one pushes you. Within a month from the moment you receive the parcel, you complete two lessons and take two tests, respectively. The material is presented in a very accessible way; if you have any questions, you can write to your teacher, he will sort everything out. There is an audio recording of the lesson where you can listen to the correct pronunciation of words. After every 8th lesson there comes an intermediate test, in which you won’t be able to cheat (as you can do in regular lessons by simply flipping through a workbook), here you have to turn on your brain and think. But there are also disadvantages.

Firstly, I significantly lacked speaking practice. I learned how to write an essay using all the rules, but I’m not very good at applying this knowledge in spoken fluency.

Secondly, if you misunderstood something, you won’t get an answer right away. Either you look for the answer on your own on the Internet, or you wait for the teacher’s answer. I would also like to note that a number of courses (guitar playing, yoga, cooking, knitting, etc.) are easier to study online, let’s say, not remotely using textbooks, but immediately in practice. And even now there are tons of such training videos and articles on the Internet. In any case, I am glad that I took advantage of this opportunity and gained initial knowledge, which I will try to further develop on my own.

    Advantages:

    • affordable price
    • you study when it's convenient
    • the material is presented in an accessible and understandable manner
    • you can consult with the teacher
    • organize yourself

    Flaws:

    • a little long
    • no speaking practice

    Reviews about ESHKO courses

    Grinina Ekaterina

Out of curiosity, I bought a design course at Eshko. With a discount, it cost me 600 rubles/month. I always looked forward to the educational magazine. True, it took a maximum of 2 hours to read it. The material was absorbed very easily, everything was written in accessible language. At the end you had to complete a practical task. The first job was scary, but interesting at the same time. I needed to divide the room into zones. I coped with this task “excellently”.

Then the tasks became more difficult. I learned to choose the right lighting sources, complement dark areas with elegant floor lamps, lamps, LED strips, and even ordinary candles. I didn’t really like the lesson about finishing materials, but at least during the renovation I won’t be a layman.
The most interesting thing was choosing the color scheme of the room, combining furniture, curtain fabric, flowers, chandeliers, sconces, etc. This was a good experience that was useful to me. I even made a small rearrangement in the apartment, which expanded the space, bought several fresh flowers that complement the interior and are simply pleasing to the eye. The courses helped me broaden my horizons, step out of my comfort zone and look at new design trends with different eyes.

At Eshko I study under the Extra program (intermediate level English. I pay for the courses once a month, a package with educational materials also arrives once a month. They send a magazine and a disk with new lessons. If you want to receive more educational materials, you can order them on the website, the choice there is very decent. The prices are reasonable. After each lesson they give homework. It can be done electronically, but I prefer the usual way - written: this way the information is better absorbed and remembered faster. The completed exercises are sent for verification. After 2-5 days they are reviewed and give a rating.
The grades are not quite standard like in school. They sound like this - “almost excellent”, “excellent”, “good” and “excellent”, I haven’t encountered any bad ones yet. The hardest thing for me is grammar. You have to delve into the essence yourself and wait for help from nowhere. You can ask a question online, but it won't compare to a verbal explanation. Unfortunately, my program does not include conversation practice, but I really want to talk with a professional, learn how to construct sentences correctly and learn to answer spontaneous questions.

The free trial lesson that I downloaded from the site was impressive - it was written competently and intelligently, and even though I already knew all the theory and practice contained in it, it was interesting to go through the material again. After the conclusion of the contract, I received by mail once a month a rather thick, well-illustrated magazine, which outlined step-by-step not only drawing techniques, starting with elementary chiaroscuro, but also contained reproductions of great painters.
The information is presented in detail, everything is laid out for you, right down to how to hold a pencil to get this or that stroke. It is absolutely not necessary to send your drawings for verification in paper form; a scan sent by email is sufficient. And the creation remains with you, and you will receive all the comprehensive comments and recommendations from the teacher on time.
The only thing I didn't like was that it was a bit expensive. The point is not the cost of the educational material, but the fact that you need to buy consumables at your own expense, from whatman paper to a sketchbook. And it’s impossible to minimize expenses - each new magazine contains new requirements for the availability of drawings necessary for a new drawing technique.

I always thought that it was simply impossible to combine pink and green colors so as not to cause “a blow to the eyesight”, until I signed up for interior design courses at Eshko. I won’t say, of course, that now I’m a super pro, but I’ve gained a basic knowledge base, and a very good one at that. It concerns not only theory in terms of color combinations and architectural solutions, the ability to choose a stylistically uniform option for decorating a room, but also practice: I can easily calculate how many rolls of wallpaper or laminate packages I need to buy for a certain area, etc. I know what materials They are “friends” with each other, and some are in categorical conflict, which helps a lot to save money when going to building materials stores.

I liked that by signing up for the courses, you not only receive a paid package of educational material, you are given real training sessions with test tasks and mini-exams. Based on the results of the check, your mistakes and mistakes will be explained to you and the way to correct them will be suggested. But the main thing is that the acquired knowledge and skills remain with you; if you wish, you can even use them as starting points when changing your profession.

I recently purchased a complete set of "English for Children". I’m very happy, the price is affordable, and it’s useful for me (I study with him). Another advantage is that you don’t have to go anywhere, everything happens while sitting at home on the couch. If something is not clear, you can always ask your teacher a question and he will definitely answer and explain everything in simple and understandable language. The good news is that the teaching method is very easy and the child accepts it without any problems. There is also a guide for parents, which is good news. Well, the most important thing is that my child really likes it!

I was interested in a foreign language. On the advice of friends, I contacted ESHKO.
First, I ordered a trial course on teaching English. I liked it.
Moreover, I was satisfied with this training in many aspects. These are classes in your free time, there are no teachers standing over your head. To make it clear and I could master the material at home. Here everything was exactly like that. The only thing that was required of me was willpower to force myself to study.
I was glad that a teacher-curator was assigned to me. There is no feeling that you paid money, they gave you a course and happily forgot about your existence. Everything is fair here. They lead to the end.
In general, I got what I wanted, which is knowledge.

I took English courses for intermediate level. I first took a test on the website to determine it. The program is designed for 11 months with payment once a month. I regularly received parcels with educational materials (disc and magazine with high-quality printing). Each magazine contains material for 2-4 weeks of independent work. The 1st package contained a convenient hard folder for magazines.
Additional educational literature is available for sale on the website. During webinars, it is convenient to ask the teacher a question directly. Online correspondence is provided. There is a system of homework that must be completed by a certain deadline. The teacher assigned to me checked and gave grades. Homework can be completed simultaneously on the website or in writing (in this case, scans must be sent for verification). The verification takes at least 3 days. The presentation of the material in the manuals is good, the grammar is well analyzed.
Success in studying directly depends on the effort expended and self-organization. A serious disadvantage of the courses is the complete lack of speaking practice. The courses are good for gaining theoretical knowledge, but you won’t be able to speak fluently.

Before starting classes, I ordered a trial lesson first to understand what it is - ESHKO Courses. I have always been attracted to the Italian language, so musical and emotional, but there was no opportunity to study it, it was not taught at school, there are no training courses nearby. That's why I chose the Italian for Beginners course.
After getting acquainted with the free lesson, I ordered the full course of training. Very conveniently designed. You just pay for the training and receive all the necessary materials by mail. All that is required is to devote at least half an hour to studying every day at a time convenient for me. True, sometimes it comes out more. Either I can’t master the material right away, or the pronunciation is not given. But especially for such moments, there is a teacher specially assigned to me; he provides real help in all difficult cases.
My efforts have borne fruit. After six months of intensive studies, I began to understand what the characters in popular films were talking about without translation, although with difficulty. And Italian songs are now not just music for me, but quite meaningful text. I say it’s disgusting for now, but I continue my studies.

I like that Eshko allows you to study independently at home. With due diligence and perseverance, you can achieve good results. Financial costs are minimal when compared with individual lessons and online courses.
Various courses are presented on the official website. I chose "English for intermediate level". In the future I plan to purchase for the highest level. There are English courses for children.
The training is self-paced. After payment for the course, materials are sent to the specified address. When choosing a course, you need to focus on your initial level of knowledge. If you have absolutely no preparation, you need to start with basic lessons and only then move on to the intermediate level.
Training can be carried out at a standard or accelerated pace. I chose a standard rhythm for myself. It involves receiving 1 module per month + audio and video materials. Sent after payment of invoice. The duration of my course is 20 months. The cost of each is 999 rubles. Materials can be received and paid in stages or you can choose to receive and pay once. Educational information is presented as clearly as possible for perception and quick assimilation.

I studied German at ESHKO. The result turned out to be no worse than in regular face-to-face courses or from classes with a tutor. And it was a good savings in terms of money. Especially considering the fact that special promotions are often held and a discount system is developed. I accept one-time payments and installments. There are a lot of ways - cards, classic bank transfer, communication shops, electronic money (WebMoney, Yandex, Qiwi), Russian Post. A set of training materials is purchased separately. It is sent in paper form by mail.
Before starting training, I took a free entrance test to determine my level of preparation. Studying at ESHKO has several significant advantages at the same time. Everything happens at home, there is no need to waste time or travel somewhere. The training schedule is drawn up individually. Be sure to spend 30 minutes on daily training, everything else is at your own discretion. The personal account on the website is quite convenient. It is most convenient to make payments directly in it; the money in the account is displayed instantly. There used to be a very useful blog on the site, but lately it has been completely quiet. The certificate that I received as a result of my training is generally accepted by employers.

ESHKO is a very large educational platform with a large number of courses. There is everything from language and photography to business and beauty. Free trial lessons and demo versions are available for download for absolutely all of them. Our own teaching methodology is used. Training proceeds gradually from easy to complex. Knowledge is gradually layered and firmly rooted in consciousness. You won't be able to get a crust just like that. After each lesson, homework is given, which must be completed within a certain time and sent to a personal teacher for review. It is assigned to each student and is available for consultation at any time.
Free webinars are periodically held for course participants on the most complex and pressing issues. If at the end of the course the certification tests are completed normally, a certificate is issued. It indicates the grade received and the number of hours in each subject. A cool idea - gift cards with different denominations (1,500 - 5,000 rubles). You can pay for them either yourself or together with friends. The gift is delivered to the recipient via SMS or email, or you can print a paper version.

I liked the large amount of materials that were sent to me immediately after registration. They are clear and colorful, making it convenient to study. During classes, I can ask the teacher any questions - if something is not clear in the assignments sent to me. As a rule, he answers the next day and this does not slow down my learning. The vocabulary they provided was exactly what a beginner needed. It’s convenient that webinars are held. Complex topics are broken down into pieces and the nuances of pronunciation are explained. The best evidence of my success in the courses is my spoken French - I speak slowly for now, but I can already understand my French friends.

I chose Eshko because I can study at home, in my free time from work. My course is for intermediate level extra. After registration, various test tasks became available. The teacher's help was a great help. I constantly used online consultations and asked a lot of questions.
It was comfortable to study - I was not ashamed when I made mistakes, since only me and my teacher knew about them, and not the whole group. I studied for 3 months, 1 hour a day. I remembered everything I learned at school and expanded my vocabulary. I don’t plan to stop there. I want to move towards fluent knowledge of the language. With Yeshko's courses this is a doable task.

I liked the trial lesson in Eshko - the information was clearly structured, the presentation was clear and the lesson was short in duration. In addition to the materials on the site, I receive monthly parcels with educational literature; I myself have purchased practically nothing additional. The discs offer pronunciation lessons. I immediately copied the information onto my laptop, and from it into the player - I listen to the lessons while I’m on my way to work. I learned to understand, expanded my vocabulary - almost no knowledge remained from school.
Webinars are available to me and I often call the teacher. I am assigned an intelligent and patient woman who deeply knows the subject. I started with the simplest thing - English for beginners. I received a certificate of successful completion of the course and started “intermediate extra”. The price is favorable; individual lessons via Skype are several times more expensive.

"English for Beginners" will be difficult for dummies. Unfortunately, all training is based on independent study and there is no speaking practice. There is a lot of grammar, you need to be patient, because I’m still learning everything with difficulty. Although I always had solid basic English. Now I have a good grasp of texts, my listening comprehension is a little better, and overall I’m happy with the results of the training.

You've probably noticed that I try to post advertisements for goods or services that may be useful to site visitors. For several months now, you can see advertisements for ESKO courses here, and I began to receive letters with questions: are ESKO courses necessary, do they provide a real profession, do they provide the opportunity to get a job in a new profession? I think that we need to talk about this in detail and consider all the pros and cons.

These are lessons that are sent by mail in paper form or by email. You can see what each lesson is at any time, just order the first lesson (it's free) and it will arrive in just a minute.

While collecting material for this article, I wrote down several of these lessons and was quite impressed with the content. Here is the content of the first few lessons from the cutting and sewing course:

Is it possible to get a job after completing ESHKO courses?

If you, having completed ESHKO courses, are looking for a job in Moscow or another metropolis, where there are many full-time specialists, often with higher education, then this is not easy. And anyone who claims the opposite (and I’ve seen similar things online) is blatantly lying! But, if you want to change your profession to one that is in demand in your locality, because there are not enough specialists in this profile, then they will take you with their hands and feet!

A friend of mine, a teacher by training, could not find a job in the village, since all the vacancies in her main specialty in kindergarten and school were filled. But there was no English teacher at the school, and there was nowhere to find him, since there was no housing for him. She completed ESHKO courses in English and got this job.

In addition, ESHKO offers a lot of courses for self-employment. It is not at all necessary to look for a hired job as a designer, programmer, hairdresser, makeup artist or tailor. Their task is to learn to work in such a way as to be in demand among clients. That is, they can easily engage in freelancing. If desired, they can, over time, register as an individual entrepreneur and continue to officially work for themselves. By the way, for such people, ESHKO offers special courses “How to start your own business” and “Basics of accounting.”

For many, ESHKO was the first step into a new profession, that is, after completing the courses, they went on to study further, including to a university. This is a good option for high school students who are not sure about their chosen profession. By taking courses, they will be able to understand its features and decide whether they should master this profession or choose another one.

Anyone who has applied for a job or was waiting for a promotion knows that the more short stories you present, the greater your chances of moving up the career ladder.

One acquaintance recently got a job and the issue was resolved in his favor thanks to the certificates of completion in time immemorial of the 1C: Accounting courses, although his new job will not be connected in any way with accounting. Another case: a friend at work, when deciding whether to hire her for a new position, was asked whether she knew English and whether she had a driver’s license, although neither one nor the other was absolutely necessary to perform new duties.

Don't forget about such a thing as self-education. Remember what you wanted to become when you were young? Maybe it's time to get this profession at least as a hobby? Learn to sew, knit, dance, draw or create beautiful interiors. It's great to learn a foreign language just for yourself. This is a life dream for many, so why not realize it? ESHKO offers a couple of dozen foreign language courses, including the fashionable and now extremely popular Chinese. At one time I graduated from a speed reading school and it helps me a lot in life; the school also has such a course.

    Pros and cons of ESHKO

I found the pros of ESHKO on the Internet (although not all of them seemed like pros to me, so I shortened the list), I collected the cons myself, to make everything clearer, and compiled this information into lists.

    Advantages of ESHKO

    1. ESHKO distance courses have been working for many years and this technique has proven its viability and effectiveness.
    2. The structure of the lessons stimulates further learning, allows you to move step by step from simple to complex and quickly obtain practical results.
    3. This school is accessible to people of any age and level of education. This is an opportunity to gain knowledge in areas very far from you and, while living somewhere in the outback, to master, for example, programming or WEB design.
    4. You can individually select the pace of classes, but on average, it is enough to spend 30 minutes every day to master the entire program. That is, even the busiest person can study.
    5. You can refuse training at any stage, since each lesson is paid separately.
    6. Each student receives a personal teacher who checks homework and gives the necessary recommendations.
    7. Each course is a mass of benefits and additional materials that you can return to again and again.
    8. After completing the course, the student can always continue studying on preferential terms in a more complex course or in any other course at the school. For example, at ESHKO there are 8 English and 6 German courses for different ages and levels of knowledge, which allows you to learn it from the basics and achieve professional proficiency.
    9. You can take several courses at the same time.

    Cons of ESHKO

    1. Courses are paid. Although I’m not sure that this is a minus, because practice shows that people only value what they have to pay for with their own money. Moreover, orderly classes, which are also checked by the teacher, discipline and give confidence that the course will not be abandoned after a couple of lessons, because there was no time / flu / rush at work / just laziness.
    2. If you can learn accounting, marketing, sewing or play the guitar remotely (and I know such people), then for the profession of a massage therapist virtual lessons will not be enough. It is advisable to find someone who will give at least a few practical lessons.
    3. After signing up for even one trial lesson, you will receive a bunch of spam, although very harmless and related only to the school - news, information about new courses, discounts, congratulations on your birthday, Happy Philologist's Day, etc.
    4. A certificate of completion of ESHKO courses is not a college diploma, much less a university diploma, so the attitude of personnel officers towards it is quite cool and you will have to prove that you are actually worth something.
    5. I think that spending money on such nonsense as the art of Feng Shui and a couple of other similar courses is irrational. All this is available on the Internet for free.

Personally, I was interested in the “Programming for Beginners” course; I have already received a trial lesson. I have long wanted to learn this, I even looked at books about programming for beginners in a bookstore and they made a depressing impression on me. One was clearly not for beginners, the table of contents of the second generally made an indelible impression, since 90% consisted of the following chapters: “How to convince your boss to raise your salary”, “How, when working in a team, dump the bulk of the work on other programmers”, etc. .d. As they say: without words... Now it’s summer, Crimea, the sea, it’s not time to study yet, but in the fall I’ll definitely order this course, and after finishing it, I’ll tell you about my impressions.
