    Forget-me-nots from beads step by step weaving. Forget-me-not beaded master class

    As the 8 March holiday approaches, I want to make a bouquet of spring flowers. Therefore, today we will make a bouquet of forget-me-nots.
    We need:
    - seed beads # 10: blue, yellow (I used amber beads) and green;
    - wire with a diameter of 0.2 mm;
    - aluminum or copper wire with a diameter of 1 mm to form the main stem of the flower (I did not have such a wire, so I made a stem of ordinary wire 0.3 mm in diameter folded in 8 rows);
    - green threads for winding the stems;
    - a basket, vase or pot, in which you can put the finished bouquet.

    First you need to make single flowers. For each such flower we take a wire 20 cm long. We put 6 blue beads on the wire and place them about 5 cm from one of the ends of the wire.

    Pass the long end of the wire in the opposite direction through the outermost bead from the other end of the wire.

    We tighten the wire, trying to keep the length of its short end equal to about 5 cm. We have a bead loop.

    Next, next to it we make another loop of the same: we collect 6 blue beads on the long end of the wire

    and pass this end of the wire through the first of the beads we just picked in the opposite direction.

    We push all the beads close to the first loop and tighten the wire. We have got the second loop.

    Further, in the same way, at the long end of the wire, we make 3 more loops, so that there are a total of 5 loops located close to each other.

    Then we pass the same end of the wire through the bead lying at the base of the very first loop, and we lead the wire towards the center of the flower.

    We pull out the wire - the loops are connected in a flower.

    Next, we type one yellow bead on the same end of the wire

    and we pass this end of the wire through the bead lying at the base of the fourth loop, and this time we lead the wire in the direction from the center of the flower.

    We pull out the wire until it stops

    and twist both ends of the wire together. The flower is ready.

    Now we take green threads and wrap them around the wire directly under the flower for a length of about 2 cm.

    There are a lot of such flowers for a bouquet to be made. I made 21 flowers for each flower, and in total I made 3 large flowers for the bouquet.

    Next, we make flower leaves from green beads. We weave each leaf using the parallel weaving technique on a 40 cm long wire according to the following pattern:
    1st row: 1 bead;
    2nd row: 2 beads;
    3rd row: 3 beads;
    4th row: 4 beads;
    5th row: 5 beads;
    6th row: 6 beads;
    rows from 7th to 10th: 7 beads;
    11th row: 6 beads;
    12th row: 5 beads;
    13th row: 4 beads;
    14th row: 3 beads;
    15th row: 2 beads.

    We take green threads and wrap them around the wire under the leaf for a length of about 3-4 cm.

    I made 3 such leaves for each flower, that is, for a bouquet of 3 flowers I needed 9 leaves.

    We start assembling the flower. First, we twist all the small flowers together three pieces so that only small segments of the stems under each flower are only 1-1.5 cm long.

    Since I had 21 flowers for each large flower, there were 7 such inflorescences per flower.

    Then we take green threads and wrap them around the stem under each inflorescence for a length of about 3 cm.

    Next, you need to take a thick aluminum or copper wire with a diameter of 1 mm for the main stem of the flower; a small piece of 15 cm long is quite enough.I did not have such a wire, so I took 8 pieces of ordinary wire with a diameter of 0.3 mm and twisted them together - I got a cable strong enough to use it for a flower stem. Forget-me-not photo describing options for weaving from beads (video)

    Delicate little flowers cannot leave anyone indifferent. Especially in early spring, when they just appear on the first thawed patches. Perhaps for this reason they are called so - forget-me-nots. The only pity is that they fade very quickly. But you can make forget-me-nots from beads and admire them every day. Moreover, even a novice needlewoman can do it. True, you have to weave a lot of small flowers of the same type. But that's not a problem, is it?

    Materials for work

    To make a bouquet of forget-me-nots with your own hands, you need to take:

    • czech blue, green and yellow seed beads # 10 or 11;
    • thin wire (0.2–0.3 mm thick);
    • thick wire 1 mm thick (to form the stem);
    • green floristic ribbon (can be replaced with nylon threads);
    • special nippers;
    • transparent glue "Moment";
    • acrylic lacquer.

    You will also need wire cutters, a piece of flannel or felt, and a box for storing beads.

    Weaving options for forget-me-not flowers

    Like living ones, beaded forget-me-nots consist of a large number of small flowers. On the one hand, it is very easy to make them, even without a weaving pattern. On the other hand, a lot of them will be required. To get a decent bouquet, you need from 30 to 50 elements of the same type. Although this is a good opportunity to fill the hand of a novice needlewoman. So that the beading does not seem monotonous, you can make them using different techniques. The following three options are most common.
    First option Cut off a piece from a common skein 20 cm long. Cast on 6 beads and place them so that a 5 cm segment remains on one side. Then thread the long end of the wire through the last bead so that a loop is formed. Using the same technique, make 4 more petals. As a result, you should get a blank for the future flower. It remains only to connect the first and the last element. Pass the remaining long end through the last bead of the 1st petal to the center.

    Now you need to make an earring for the forget-me-not flower. Cast on one yellow bead and thread the wire through the last bead in the fourth petal. Connect both ends together. For decoration, wrap 2 cm of twists with a floral tape (or nylon threads).

    Second option

    This weaving technique is a little simpler than the previous one. On a wire 12-14 cm long, cast 3 blue, 1 yellow and 1 more blue beads. It turns out that the heart will form simultaneously with the petals. It is very convenient for those who are just mastering beadwork. Now thread one end into the last blue bead. Tighten into a loop.
    Cast on 2 more blue beads and thread the working end into the next bead, following the yellow one, until you get some kind of flower. Twist both pieces of wire together, twist 4 more green beads. This will be the beaded forget-me-not. This concludes the master class on making the smallest flowers.

    Third option For the largest flowers, you can use another weaving technique. On a piece of wire 25-30 cm long, dial 9 beads of a suitable color and twist the loop so that one of the free ends turns out to be 5 cm in size. On the other, dial 9 more beads and twist the loop again. In total, the forget-me-not will have 5 such petals. Form a stem from the remaining ends of the wire, twisting them together.

    Separately make an earring for the forget-me-not flower. Take another wire 10 cm long, dial 4 pieces of yellow beads, and then pull one of the ends of the wire through 2 beads. Thread the stamen through the middle of the flower and twist once.

    This concludes the third master class on making flowers for a bouquet of forget-me-nots. Referring to the photo examples, you can easily repeat the weaving of these cute flowers yourself.

    Making leaves

    Of course, beaded forget-me-nots cannot be without green leaves. Unlike flowers, they all need to be done in the same weaving technique. True, they will be needed much less: usually from 6 to 10 pieces. There are 2 ways to do it. The first is in the French technique, and the second is using parallel weaving. Both look equally good. The choice depends on the personal preferences of the needlewoman.
    French weaving technique Large and small leaves can be made depending on the number of rows. Cast on the wire 12 beads, twisting the wire at one end. This is done so that the beads do not fall from it. At the other end, also make a twist with a loop, dial 1-2 more beads and press firmly against the previous row. Twist the working end around the center axis at a 45 degree angle. On the other hand, make the same row. Fasten the wire.

    This will be enough for small leaves. For large ones, you need to make one more row. Just one bouquet will need 3 large and 6 small leaves. Although their number can be changed to your liking. In this technique, the leaves can be made in literally two hours for the whole bouquet. However, not everyone likes the way they look.
    Parallel weaving Take a piece of green wire, its length should be 40 cm. Cast on 3 beads and knead in the middle. Pass one end in the opposite direction through the 2 outer beads. Tighten. This will be the parallel weaving technique. In the same way, weave the entire sheet with beads, only changing the number of beads according to the following pattern:

    • 3 row - 3 pieces;
    • 4th row - 4 pieces;
    • 5 row - 5 pieces;
    • 6 row - 6 pieces;
    • 7-10 rows - 7 pieces;
    • 11 row - 6 pieces;
    • 12 row - 5 pieces;
    • 13 row - 4 pieces;
    • 14 row - 3 pieces;
    • 15 row - 2 pieces.

    At the end of weaving, twist the ends of the wire together and wrap it 3-4 cm below the last row with floral tape or threads. A total of 7-9 leaves are required. This completes the master class on making components for forget-me-not from beads. You can start assembling.

    Creating a composition

    After all the flowers and leaves are ready, you need to lay them out next to each other. Try different ways to shape the bouquet to find the best one available. This creative process can take a while, but don't rush. After all, in the end, this is how the bead forget-me-not will look like. You can also spy on the ideas in the photo and video tutorials on making it. If you don't like something, it is better to postpone work for the next day. It is not necessary to collect all flowers and leaves on one stem. You can make several forget-me-nots from beads to get a real bouquet.

    Now it remains to collect the composition. First, you need to collect flowers, starting with the largest, and gradually descending along the stem, add those that are smaller. In order for them to hold well, the composition must be formed on a thick wire. From above, the stem is wrapped with nylon threads or floral tape. Below the flowers, attach the leaves on one level in a circle and also secure with threads or tape. Coat the ends with transparent glue, and when it dries, cover the entire stem with acrylic varnish.
    Decoration In order for the finished bouquet not to gather dust in the closet idle, it is imperative to "plant" the beaded forget-me-nots in a suitable pot or basket. To this end, you need to dilute alabaster, PVA glue and water in a one-to-one ratio. Transfer the resulting mass to a pot or any other chosen shape. Stick the forget-me-nots 3-4 cm deep, make sure they hold well, and decorate to your liking.

    In nature, forget-me-nots bloom so early that even the first bright green grass is missing. Therefore, they usually imitate bare ground. This can be done by sprinkling some tea leaves or stones on top. When the alabaster mass is completely dry, shake off all excess and cover with acrylic varnish and dry. This concludes a master class on weaving forget-me-not beads.

    Video: Learning to make forget-me-nots from beads

    In conclusion, I would like to note that forget-me-nots can inspire not only a bouquet, but also jewelry. The following video shows one of these embodied ideas. The master class is designed as a photo slide show, but it will not be difficult for experienced needlewomen to repeat it.

    It is not for nothing that these flowers got their name, their beauty is really impossible to forget. We offer to settle such a beautiful plant on your windowsill, and for this you need to study our master class on making forget-me-nots from beads and watch the video.

    Weaving options for forget-me-not flowers

    Forget-me-not beads can be made in several ways. We will tell you about the most popular ones.

    French weaving technique

    Each petal of the flower is made separately. Beads are collected on the fishing line, an axis is created around which arcs are woven. This is one of the easiest ways to work even for beginners. The products are smooth and neat; at the end, you can give any shape to the petals.

    Parallel weaving

    Another easy technique. With the help of parallel rows of beads, which are located next to each other, you can make any craft. Flowers look dense and neat.

    You can add special accessories to the finished product and get an original decoration or keychain.

    Step-by-step master class for creating forget-me-nots

    Forget-me-not beaded MK is very light, you can attract children to weaving and with them plunge into the world of beading. We offer a detailed master class with step by step photo forget-me-nots from beads. The first step is to decide on the method of weaving. We will show you two ways at once - how to weave a forget-me-not from beads, they can be used for one plant.

    Making flowers and buds

    First way:

    • string 3 blue beads on the wire;
    • add one yellow - this will be the middle;

    • string another blue bead and pass the second end of the wire through it to make a loop;

    • tighten the loop;
    • add two more blue beads;

    • pass the wire through the blue bead next to the yellow one;
    • tighten the wire;

    • you have got one flower, you need a lot of such flowers for one plant (70-90 pieces).

    Second way:

    • suitable for larger flowers;
    • add 7-9 blue beads to the wire;
    • twist the loop;
    • add the same amount of beads to one end of the wire and twist the loop again;
    • make 5 loops;
    • connect them in a circle;
    • make a stem from the remaining wire.

    Making leaves

    You have already mastered the main stage of forget-me-not beading, let's disassemble one of the ways of weaving leaves:

    • cast a large amount of green beads on the wire;
    • count 10 pieces - this will be the axis;
    • form arcs around it;
    • two on each side for small leaves and three for large;
    • for a flower you need 3 small and 2 large leaves.

    Assembling parts and creating a composition

    To collect all the parts, take a thick wire and, starting with the largest flowers, attach to the stem. After the flowers, add leaves on each side. Wrap green tape around the stem to hide the wire. It is not necessary to add all the flowers and leaves on one stem, you can make 3-5 branches.

    • fill with solution;
    • wait until it dries completely;
    • decorate the soil under the forget-me-nots with colorful pebbles or coffee beans.

    What can be decorated with crafts?

    Beadwork can decorate a wide variety of things. Forget-me-not flowers made of beads will look beautiful on clothes in the form of a brooch or on hair in the form of a hairpin.

    Here are some more decorating ideas:

    • make a keychain for your phone;
    • a brooch on a coat;
    • decorate a bag or backpack;
    • make a hairpin or hair tie with an unusual beaded decoration;
    • weave a complete set of earrings and a pendant.

    Examples of patterns of weaving and embroidery of forget-me-nots

    In addition to weaving, you can embroider forget-me-nots with beads on a napkin or clothing according to the pattern. Here are some examples of bead forget-me-not schemes.

    We need:
    - seed beads # 10: blue, yellow (I used amber beads) and green;
    - wire with a diameter of 0.2 mm;
    - aluminum or copper wire with a diameter of 1 mm to form the main stem of the flower (I did not have such a wire, so I made a stem of ordinary wire 0.3 mm in diameter folded in 8 rows);
    - green threads for winding the stems;

We have a bead loop.

    and pass this end of the wire through the first of the beads we just picked in the opposite direction.

    We push all the beads close to the first loop and tighten the wire. We have got the second loop.

    Then we pass the same end of the wire through the bead lying at the base of the very first loop, and we lead the wire towards the center of the flower.

    We pull out the wire - the loops are connected in a flower.

    and we pass this end of the wire through the bead lying at the base of the fourth loop, and this time we lead the wire in the direction from the center of the flower.

    1st row: 1 bead;
    2nd row: 2 beads;
    3rd row: 3 beads;
    4th row: 4 beads;
    5th row: 5 beads;
    6th row: 6 beads;
    rows from 7th to 10th: 7 beads;
    11th row: 6 beads;
    12th row: 5 beads;
    13th row: 4 beads;
    14th row: 3 beads;

    Then, one after another, we attach all the remaining inflorescences to the main stem, placing them around the circumference, one slightly below the other.

    At the same time, we continue to wrap the stem with green threads to hide the wire.

    After we have attached all the inflorescences, we attach the leaves to the stem, placing them approximately at the same level around the circumference. Then we complete the winding of the stem with green threads, fix the thread and, if necessary, cut off the excess wire.
    One forget-me-not flower is ready.

    I made 3 of these flowers and put them in a basket. The result is a bouquet of forget-me-nots!

    Even a beginner can handle the production of these delicate forget-me-nots, as if they had just been plucked from the meadow.

    Materials and tools

    You need to prepare:

      beads of 3 colors (blue, yellow, green);

    • wire with a diameter of 0.2 mm;

      floss or ordinary green threads;

      pot for indoor flowers or vase.

    Manufacturing process

    Forget-me-nots are woven according to the simplest scheme.

    Making flowers

    A piece of 10 cm long is cut off from a skein of wire. Yellow and 5 blue beads are put on it. The end of the wire, on which the blue beads are located, is inserted into the first three beads, and then pulled through the yellow hole. The wire is pulled together, the beads are formed into a flower.

    Both ends of the wire are connected together, twisted.

    The more such small flowers are made, the more voluminous the bouquet will turn out.

    When a sufficient number of blanks are woven, they are collected into inflorescences: first, a couple of flowers are connected, twisting the wire, then several more elements are added to this structure one by one. In total, there can be from 7 to 14 such flowers on a branch.

    Weaving leaves

    To make this detail of the bouquet, you will need green beads and a long wire.

    3 beads are strung at the end of the wire, one of the ends is pulled through the first 2, the second end is threaded from the opposite side. Tighten the wire.

    3 beads are strung on one end, the other end of the wire is threaded into them, tightened.

    They continue to weave, increasing the number of beads by 1 with each row.

    This pattern can be used to weave a leaf of any width and size. When the desired width is reached, the number of beads in a row is reduced.

    When only one bead remains on the wire, the wire is threaded through it, tightened and both ends are connected together.

    Assembling parts

    Small flowers combined into inflorescences are combined with leaves, collecting them into a single composition. At the same time, the wire is masked by carefully wrapping it with tape or threads.

    When the work is completed, the finished bouquet is placed in a vase or fixed in a flower pot.
