Many of us love fruit drinks. And the most useful of all is fresh. And what is it? And how to cook and consume it correctly? What it is? Fresh is freshly squeezed juice. This drink is incredibly healthy, because unlike store juices in bottles and bags, it does not contain preservatives. And the concentration of nutrients and active components in it simply goes off scale, because the juice is not subjected to heat treatment and purification. In general, fresh is a real health drink. What are they made of?

Fresh juices are usually made from vegetables, berries and fruits. As for fruits, citrus fruits (especially oranges) and apples are most often used. Almost any berries are used, because they all differ in juiciness. Some people prefer fresh vegetable juices made from carrots, tomatoes, celery and other ingredients. One way or another, the main ingredient should be juicy, ripe, fresh and of high quality. To maximize your health benefits, use seasonal fruits, vegetables and berries purchased from major trusted stores or officially registered fairs or markets. And it is best to purchase such products from friends and trusted sellers, for example, friends or neighbors who have and maintain a garden and a vegetable garden. How is it cooked?

There are several ways to make fresh juices: The most convenient way to make fresh juices is to use a juicer. And it is better to get one that can squeeze juice from fruits, vegetables and berries with seeds. If you don't have a juicer, then you can do without it, but in this case it will be very problematic to get fresh juice, and the amount of juice will be much less. You can squeeze the juice from citrus fruits with the power of your own hands. Just cut the fruit into several slices and squeeze them one by one in your hands over the glass. Make an effort to squeeze out all the juice without residue. You can also squeeze berries such as cherries, raspberries, strawberries or cherries with your hands. But first, wrap them in a piece of cloth or cheesecloth folded several times so that the pulp does not get into the juice. The situation is much more complicated with hard fruits and vegetables, such as apples, beets, carrots and others. They must first be crushed. You can just chop the vegetable or fruit finely with a knife, but it is more convenient and efficient to use a blender. If there is no such device, take a regular grater. Chop the fruit to juice the pulp. Then squeeze the resulting puree through cheesecloth or cloth. How do I prepare the components?

Basic preparation steps: First, choose the appropriate berries, fruits or vegetables. Use the juicy and ripe ones (maybe even overripe). Do not take rotten, spoiled or stained ones, their juice will not be healthy and tasty. Thoroughly wash all the components, otherwise fresh juice will not only not be useful, but also harm your health, because many bacteria live on the surface of fruits, berries and vegetables. It is advisable to remove the bones. But if you use a modern juicer or squeeze by hand, then this is not necessary. You don't need to remove the skin, it won't hurt (unless, of course, it's not very dense, hard and thick). Now grind the ingredients or start pressing immediately if you are using a juicer or making fresh citrus fruits. The remaining pulp can be used to make compote or jelly. How to do it? How to make healthy and tasty fresh juice? We offer you proven recipes. Orange

The benefits of orange juice are invaluable, this is a real vitamin cocktail. The content of vitamin C in such juice is especially high, and it is necessary for the normal functioning of the immune system, normalization of blood clotting, as well as strengthening the vascular walls. In addition, oranges contain beta-carotene, which speeds up the regeneration processes, protects against the negative effects of free radicals, and also slows down the aging process, improves vision and the condition of mucous membranes and skin. To make fresh oranges, cut them into wedges and squeeze the juice. Be careful when drinking such a drink! First, do not drink it on an empty stomach, as the acid it contains can irritate the mucous walls of the digestive system. Secondly, do not overuse, as an excess of beta-carotene in the body can lead to yellow staining of the skin. One glass a day is enough. Apple

First, let's list the beneficial properties of apple juice. Firstly, apples have a lot of vitamin C. Secondly, these fruits are rich in pectins, which improve digestion and cleanse the body of toxins and toxins. Thirdly, apple juice contains iron, so it should be used to prevent anemia. How to cook? Wash and peel apples, remove cores. Grate fruit or chop in a blender. Transfer the resulting applesauce to cheesecloth or cloth and squeeze out the juice. Remember that apple juice contains acids, so do not drink large amounts of it on an empty stomach. Celery

Fresh celery is useful for weight loss, as it contains only 20 calories per 100 ml. In addition, celery contains a large amount of B vitamins, which are responsible for cell renewal and metabolic processes. It also contains magnesium, useful for the nervous system, normalizing blood clotting, vitamin K, eliminating inflammation, zinc, pectins and many other useful substances. How to cook? Wash, peel and chop the celery root along with the leaves (can be chopped in a blender). Put all this in a bowl and remember well with a spoon so that the juice begins to stand out. Now squeeze out the remaining juice through a cloth or cheesecloth. Fresh celery can be drunk daily after meals or instead of a snack. Cherry

Proper nutrition implies the use of large amounts of "live" foods - fruits and vegetables, which contain nutrients necessary for health. One of the solutions to the problem of enriching the family's nutrition is the use of fresh juices of berries, fruits and vegetables, rich in vitamins, minerals and fiber. Of course, they are more useful than their packaged counterparts, which are sold in stores and are positioned by manufacturers as a natural product.

Fresh is a storehouse of vitamins and minerals. But not always and not everyone can use such drinks. After all, they can cause allergic reactions. And it's not just about citrus juices. Not every stomach can withstand the attack of pure apple or orange nectar. Therefore, it is better to dilute all fresh juices with water in a ratio of 1: 1 or more.

It is known that the healing properties of fresh drinks are used in the treatment and prevention of many diseases.

Currant, cranberry and citrus nectars are champions in vitamin C. Vitamin C is known as an excellent remedy for preventing colds and strengthening immunity. And their mixtures (mixes) are not only tasty, but also original!

Carrot, pumpkin, and plum juices are excellent laxatives. Beet spinning will support a woman's well-being during the menstrual cycle, watermelon fresh will help to lose a couple of extra pounds! Fresh grapefruit is good for mono diets.

Freshly squeezed juices can also be used in home cosmetology. For example, the “tomato with milk” mask nourishes and rejuvenates the skin, eliminates flaking and dryness.

    Fresh recipes

There is an opinion that the more fresh juice you drink per day, the stronger you can improve your health. But this is not the case! The required daily dose is three glasses, no more. When diluting fresh nectars, it is better to use mineral or boiled water.

Freshly squeezed juices should be drunk separately from food, or at least an hour after a meal. Better to do it between breakfast and lunch or lunch and dinner. In no case is it recommended to drink food with them!

Some extracts are generally best consumed with other beverages. Good assimilation of carrot pressing is possible with the addition of milk or cream to it, but only very slightly. Vegetable oil increases the benefits of pressing tomatoes, but the salt with which they love to drink it will destroy all its useful substances.

Juices can be used to prepare all kinds of cocktails.

    Calorie content of fresh juices

Many people believe that fresh juices are the best ingredient for any diet. However, this is a misconception. The relative excess of calories in pineapple juice - 130 kcal per glass - dispels all the myths about this fruit - "burner" of fat. Slightly over 100 kcal per glass is also available in apple, orange and tangerine drinks.

Quite good indicators for pumpkin and carrot juice - 40 kcal per glass. But the most low-calorie and, according to nutritionists, are considered useful "exotic" fresh juices: radishes, turnips, spinach, cabbage and beets.

Of course, not everyone dares to refresh themselves with such a juice. But it is in them that the percentage of vitamins and minerals is high.

    Choice of fresh

Fresh is the juice that you yourself have just squeezed out or squeezed before your eyes. Everything else has nothing to do with freshly squeezed juices!

The juice squeezed out an hour before your arrival is the same as "sturgeon of the second freshness." Half an hour after spinning, it begins to lose its valuable properties. Therefore, when buying fresh, focus on being squeezed out with you.

Sometimes in large shopping centers you can see fresh juices that are packaged in "plastic". Do not be tempted - it is not known when this juice was actually squeezed!

    Storage

Freshly squeezed nectars deteriorate when exposed to air, so it is not recommended to store them at all. If necessary, pour it into a glass container, and on top, pour over half a finger with lemon juice, which will not let the air through.

Thus, your "original" fresh juice will not come into contact with air and will not oxidize. All this "conservation" should be in the refrigerator no more than six to eight hours. But beet juice, on the contrary, should settle for 2-3 hours.

I think even a hedgehog understands that there are practically no vitamins in store juices. Don't be naive either. Of course, one can hope that in so-called juices. direct extraction preserved at least one vitamin. But nothing beats freshly squeezed juice, which has not yet managed to lose its healing power.

Such drinks are called fresh (or fresh), served in restaurants, cafes, fitness clubs and special fresh bars, and in all spa hotels they are always present on the menu.

You yourself understand that in such establishments there are large margins, due to little competition and not every city still has such a bar. And what prevents us from making fresh juices ourselves, every day, trying out a new recipe and saving much.
Wean yourself off packaged juices, and do not be afraid of the seeming high cost of freshly squeezed juices. The fact is that you can drink no more than one glass of fresh juice per day, which is comparable in price to a package of empty store juice made from concentrate.

Apparently, my selection of fresh juice recipes is one of the most extensive, so we take it out of the juicer bins and dare.
