Potato pizza. Potato pizza: step-by-step recipe Potato pizza

Let's start with the filling. Peel and cut the onion into half rings. Add a tablespoon of vegetable oil to a heated frying pan, add onion and fry over low heat for just a couple of minutes.

At the same time, remembering to stir the onion, wash, remove the stalk and remove the seeds from the red bell pepper. Can be any other color if desired. But, for example, the taste of green pepper is not very good for me. Roughly chop into small pieces and add to the pan with the onions. Fry for a couple more minutes.

Again, in parallel, not forgetting to stir the contents of the pan, cut the sausages. I cut it slightly diagonally, half a centimeter thick. This is where I push the vegetables to the very edge of the pan and add the chopped sausage. I increase the heat and fry it quickly, literally for a minute.

Mix all ingredients and fry, stirring, for another minute. Close the lid and set aside. That's it, the filling is almost ready.

Have your potatoes already been peeled? No? Then it's time. Take not very small tubers, since they are not very convenient to grate, and this is exactly what we will do now.

Take a beetroot grater and three our peeled potatoes into a bowl. If you see that water has formed, drain it. Lightly press the mixture with your hand and drain everything.

Lightly beat the eggs with a fork (or you can mix them immediately in a bowl). Peel the garlic and pass through a press. Add eggs, flour (two tablespoons), salt, black pepper and garlic to the grated potatoes in a bowl.

    Mix all potato dough ingredients.

I place two frying pans at once, the diameter of which is 24 centimeters. Heat each one (not cold!), add about one and a half tablespoons of vegetable oil to each. Place one half of the dough in the pan and use a fork (or spoon) to form a pancake. We do the same with the second half, only we form it in another frying pan. Reduce heat to medium-low and cook for about 3 minutes.

While one side of the pancakes is frying, rinse the tomatoes (I prefer cherry ones) and cut them into halves. Grate the cheese and chop the green onions.

Next, take a wide spatula and run along the edge of the pancake to make sure that it comes off normally and that the blush does not stick to the bottom. Turn over carefully and quickly. I've never had any problems with this before. I hope this doesn't happen to you either.

By the way, if you are not confident in your frying pan (everything often sticks to it), then you have two options: heat the frying pan with salt or spare no expense and buy a really good one.

Fry over high heat for about a minute, then reduce heat to medium-low.

Pizza or potato pie? Decide for yourself, but in any case, very tasty!

    You will need:

    Dough:
600-650 grams of peeled raw potatoes
1 tablespoon sour cream 15% fat
    1 egg
    1-2 tablespoons fresh chopped dill
2 tablespoons vegetable oil for frying
    salt and spices to taste

    Filling:
    2-3 tablespoons tomato paste
150-200 grams of meat (sausage, ham, etc.)
    200-300 grams of grated cheese
    1-2 tomatoes for decoration

    How to cook:

    1. On a coarse grater, grate three peeled potatoes. Beat in the egg, add sour cream and dill, as well as ground black pepper, dried garlic and salt. Mix thoroughly.

    2. Grease the frying pan with vegetable oil, not forgetting to grease the sides. Place a layer of potatoes, pressing down. Fry for about 15 minutes over medium heat.

    3. Next we need to turn our base over. It is necessary to ensure that the base is on parchment, which is necessary in order to then quickly and easily transfer the pizza to a plate. Spread the potato dough with tomato paste.

    4. Place some grated cheese on top of the tomato paste, then the meat - stewed beef “disassembled” into small pieces. You can use sausage, ham, boiled fish and any other meat or fish filling.

    5. Sprinkle the pizza generously with grated cheese and decorate with tomato slices and ground black pepper. Cover with a lid and fry for about 25 minutes over medium heat. Next, you can remove the lid and keep the pizza on the fire a little longer if excess moisture is visible around the edges. We take the pizza out onto a large plate along with the parchment, which we tear in half and pull out in different directions from underneath.

    Bon appetit!

Wash and peel the potatoes. Rinse the potatoes and grate them on a coarse grater.

Immediately add sour cream and stir - it will prevent the potatoes from darkening.

    Add egg, salt, pepper, mix.

Now it's time for the flour.

Mix the potato mixture thoroughly so that all ingredients are distributed evenly.

Place the potato mixture in a well-heated frying pan with vegetable oil and level it over the entire frying pan (a layer 1-1.5 cm thick is obtained).

Cover the pan with a lid and fry over low heat (slightly above minimum) for 10 minutes. During this time, the underside of the potatoes will set and become golden brown.

Then carefully turn the potato pancake over.

While the potato pizza base is being prepared, let's make the filling. Remove the casing from sausages and sausages and cut into slices. Grate the cheese onto a coarse grater. Wash the tomatoes, dry them and cut them into rings or slices.

Lubricate the top, fried part of the potatoes with tomato paste.

Spread about half of the grated cheese and level it out. Then lay out the sausage, sausages and tomatoes. Sprinkle the top of the pizza evenly with the remaining cheese. Sprinkle a little Provençal herbs or other seasoning of your choice on top.

Cover the pan again with a lid and fry over low heat for another 10 minutes, until the cheese is completely melted.

Immediately transfer the finished pizza from the frying pan to a plate or dish and serve. Decorate potato pizza with herbs to taste.

    Bon appetit!

Potato pizza in a frying pan is an easy and quite filling snack option that can be prepared both for a family evening and for a meeting with friends. The whole point of potato pizza is that the base crust must be made from mashed potatoes with a little flour and other ingredients. The advantage of this potato pizza is its preparation time, since it will cook much faster in a frying pan. The filling can vary according to your tastes, you can use sausage and tomatoes, or you can also add pieces of boiled chicken and pineapple. You can decorate the dish with chopped dill or other herbs.

Do not use ready-made mashed potatoes for pizza, to which water or milk has been added, the dough will not be as dense as necessary and the dough may fall apart.

We will tell you how to prepare this unusual pizza deliciously and quickly. But we want to warn you right away - this version of pizza is not classic, do not expect that the pizza will resemble Italian pizza made from yeast dough in the oven. But the pizza will be delicious - that's absolutely certain.

How to cook potato pizza in a frying pan

Rinse the potatoes under running water using a brush. Fill the pan halfway with water and add the potatoes. Put it on the fire to cook. After the water boils, reduce the heat and add a little salt. Continue cooking at this pace for 20-25 minutes.

This pizza can be prepared in 10 minutes if you have boiled potatoes. It can be boiled in advance and stored in the refrigerator for 24 hours.

Cool the boiled potatoes and peel them. Then grate using a medium or large grater into a convenient deep bowl. You can also grind the potatoes using a blender or potato masher. For quick pizza made from pre-boiled and cooled potatoes, it is easier to use a grater.

Add one raw chicken egg to the potato mixture, as well as three tablespoons of flour. Mix thoroughly until a homogeneous mass is formed.

Finally, add a little salt and pepper to the potato mixture. Add spices and herbs to taste, then mix well. Leave the dough aside to infuse.

Meanwhile, prepare the pizza sauce in a separate bowl. To do this, mix mayonnaise, tomato paste and a little mustard. Season with salt and ground pepper.

Mayonnaise can be replaced with sour cream or unsweetened yogurt.

Cut the boiled sausage into small or medium cubes.

Grate the cheese onto a fine grater and place in a separate plate.

Rinse fresh tomatoes under running water, remove the bottom, then cut into slices or slices. Leave on a separate plate.

Take a frying pan with a diameter of 25-28 cm, in which nothing sticks when frying, add a little vegetable or butter, and spread it over the entire bottom with a brush. Place the potato mixture in the center and spread over the entire surface of the pan. Set to medium heat. Fry for approximately 5-7 minutes until the bottom layer is browned.

When the bottom layer is browned, remove the pan from the heat and carefully tilt it so that the cake falls onto a flat dish.

Place the inside of the pan on the potato base and turn the dish over so that the fried crust is on top. The potato pizza base is ready.

Spread the sauce over the crust.

We will add diced boiled sausage. You can replace it with slices of salami or sausages.

Place thin slices of tomatoes on top of the sausage. Then lightly brush with mayonnaise. Sprinkle with spices.

In winter I use frozen tomato slices.

Add grated cheese and fry under a closed lid over low heat for 8-10 minutes until the cheese melts. Sprinkle with herbs on top if desired.

Potato pizza in a frying pan is ready. This hearty and tasty dish will appeal to many. Bon appetit!

Carefully transfer the potato pizza from the skillet to a large, flat plate.

    Cut into portions and serve.
