    Treatment facilities for storm drains, storm sewers

    Professional cleaning of storm drains is carried out with the help of mechanical and physico-chemical cleaning methods implemented in the systems of the SGP-L series (oil traps capacity - from 2 to 500 l / s).

    Calculation of the performance of treatment facilities

    The capacity that the stormwater treatment plant will have and the volume of the storage tank will depend on the catchment area (ha) and the ratio of hard cover to turf and site landscaping. Questionnaire for calculation

    THE BASIS FOR CALCULATION OF ANNUAL, DAILY, HOURLY AND SECOND RAIN WASTEWATER FLOW SERVES:

    • SNiP 2.04.03-85 “Sewerage. External networks and facilities",
    • "Recommendations for the calculation of systems for collecting, diverting and treating surface runoff from residential areas, enterprise sites and determining the conditions for its release into water bodies", Federal State Unitary Enterprise "NII VODGEO"

    Approximate composition of source and treated wastewater

    The efficiency of storm water treatment corresponds to the MPC for discharge into water bodies of fishery importance.

    At present, with sufficiently high quality indicators of treated wastewater, stormwater treatment requires a competent approach to the design and use of high-quality and reliable stormwater treatment facilities.

    Sanitary protection zone

    In accordance with SNiP 2.04.03-85 and section 4.5 p. 1.5 SanPiN 2.2.1/2.1.1.1200-03 "Sanitary protection zones and sanitary classification of enterprises, structures and other objects", the sanitary protection zone surrounding the storm water treatment plant drains, is 100 and 50 m to the residential area. The size of the sanitary protection zone for existing treatment facilities can be reduced with objective evidence of a decrease in the level of chemical, biological pollution of atmospheric air and physical impacts on atmospheric air to the level of MPC and MPC at the border of the sanitary protection zone and beyond.

    Based on these data, our specialists design local stormwater treatment facilities, calculate the cost of stormwater treatment facilities, install and service them, which allows for stormwater treatment at the proper level.

    DEPENDING ON CONDITIONS OF PLACEMENT AND TECHNICAL REFERENCES OF THE CUSTOMER, WE OFFER TWO PRINCIPAL TECHNOLOGICAL SCHEMES OF PLACEMENT OF EQUIPMENT:

    Storm water treatment plant: treatment technology

    1 Wastewater flows from the territory of the facility through a gravity collector K2 into a distribution well (1), designed to separate the flow of wastewater. The flow exceeding the calculated one is discharged by gravity into the control well (5) by means of the bypass line (6).
    2 After the distribution well, the rainwater enters the storage tank (2), designed for the maximum daily flow of wastewater, in which some of the insoluble contaminants are deposited. The film of oil products is removed from the surface of the water in the tank using a skimmer (3).
    3 Bottom sediments, which are an aqueous suspension of solid particles of sand, clay, as well as heavy hydrocarbon fractions, are periodically pumped out of the reservoir by special transport.
    4 Further, from the accumulation tank, wastewater is pumped by a pumping group through a damping well or a special pressure damping pocket organized inside a reinforced concrete tank into the SGP-L trap-separator (4)
    5 The oil trap separator consists of 3 chambers: a settling tank, an oil trap and a post-treatment chamber, where sorption filters of two stages are installed: Fibroil and a carbon filter.
    6 After cleaning, the rain runoff enters the control well (5), and then to the discharge point provided by the project.
    7 The stormwater and flow-type sewage treatment plants we offer work on the same principle. The only difference is the absence of a reservoir and a pumping group. Due to the fact that the rain runoff undergoes gravity cleaning, the separator trap has increased productivity.

    Benefits of cleaning technology

    • STORM WATER TREATMENT IS AUTONOMOUS, does not require the constant presence of service personnel. This approach allows you to extend the life of the system responsible for cleaning, as well as save a significant part of the funds that would be required to pay for restoration or maintenance work;
    • STORM DRAINAGE TREATMENT PLANT IS EASY TO INSTALL AND MAINTENANCE. The units are made in a single housing, delivered assembled and fully equipped, for installation it is required to connect the inlet and outlet pipelines, install extensions for service wells and close them with covers. Next, backfilling with sand with water sealing and connection of a cable (220 V, 5 kW) for signaling the level of petroleum products is carried out. Such storm sewer treatment facilities operate autonomously, in gravity mode, permanent maintenance personnel are not required;
    • LOW OPERATING COSTS. This system does not require expensive elements to ensure quality work, which means that our storm sewer treatment plant will serve for a long time and without any extra economic costs.
    • HIGH CLEANING EFFICIENCY, BEST PRICE RATIO. There is a relatively small amount of equipment that can provide decent quality work at minimal cost. The stormwater treatment facilities developed by the specialists of SPETSHYDROPROEKT group perfectly clean rainwater and do not require significant investments, which is undoubtedly a significant advantage for most of our customers.

    Hardware Benefits

    • STORM SEWER TREATMENT PLANTS ARE UNDERGROUND AND ARE COMPACT,
    • DURABILITY DUE TO THE MAIN EQUIPMENT FROM FIBERGLASS,
    • AUTONOMOUS WORK DUE TO GRAVITY FLOW.

    Thanks to the above advantages of our equipment, stormwater treatment becomes a simple event and will not need permanent monitoring.
