3. Draws up technological process maps, route and material maps, tooling lists and other technological documentation.

4. Participates in the conduct of patent research and determination of indicators of the technical level of the designed objects of equipment and technology, in the preparation of technical specifications for the design of fixtures, equipment and special tools provided for by the developed technology, in the implementation of technological processes in workshops, in identifying the causes of products, in preparing proposals for its prevention and elimination.

5. Draws up changes in the technical documentation in connection with the adjustment of technological processes and production modes and coordinates them with the divisions of the enterprise.

6. Participates in the development of technically justified norms of time (production), calculates detailed and operational material standards, consumption rates of raw materials, materials, tools, fuel and energy, economic efficiency of the designed technological processes.

7. Monitors compliance with technological discipline in the production departments of the enterprise and the rules for operating equipment.

8. Participates in the testing of technological equipment, in carrying out experimental work to verify and master the designed technological processes and production modes.

9. Performs individual official assignments of his immediate supervisor.

III. The rights

The technologist has the right:

1. Get acquainted with the draft decisions of the management of the enterprise relating to its activities.

2. Submit proposals for the management to improve the work related to the duties provided for in this job description.

3. Report to the immediate supervisor about all the shortcomings in the production activities of the enterprise (its structural divisions) identified in the course of the performance of their duties and make proposals for their elimination.

4. Request personally or on behalf of the immediate supervisor from the heads of enterprise departments and specialists information and documents necessary for the performance of his duties.

5. Involve specialists from all (individual) structural divisions in solving the tasks assigned to him (if this is provided for by the regulations on structural divisions, if not, then with the permission of the management).

IV. Responsibility

The Technician is responsible for:

1. For improper performance or non-performance of their official duties provided for by this job description - to the extent determined by the current labor legislation of the Russian Federation.
