  • Whoever believes in a son has eternal life. Kenneth haigin - welcome to the family of God

Whoever believes in a son has eternal life. Kenneth haigin - welcome to the family of God

John 6:47 - "Truly, truly, I say to you, he who believes in Me has eternal life."

John 6: 54 - “He who eats my flesh and drinks my blood has eternal life,
and I will raise him up on the last day "

1 John 5:11 - “This is the testimony that God has given us eternal life,
and this life is in His Son "

1 John 5:13 - “I have written this to you, who believe in the name of the Son of God, so that you may know that you,
believing in the Son of God, you have eternal life "

    Problem:

Evangelicals, Pentecostals, and the “Gospel Hall” Church highlight these verses. Since John uses the past tense "has eternal life," then they claim that believers have eternal life now - their eternal security is guaranteed.

    Solution:

    1. Almost without exception, those who claim to have life "eternal security" also believe in the immortality of the soul. But if believers, as well as unbelievers, have immortal soul what then to say about the eternal life that Jesus promised to give to believers?

    2. If the argument is made that “being saved” believers are immune to hellfire and lake of fire, where does the Gospel of John and the Epistle teach?

    3. Where can I get objective evidence that a “saved person” is really saved? He may say that he is saved, but how can one know for certain that such statements of his are true?

    4. The reasoning for the "saved" in the above passages rests on a mistaken understanding of the use of tenses in the writings of John. John uses the past tense in his account of future events to emphasize the certainty of their outcome. Take a look at the following examples:

    • “The Father loves the Son and has given everything into His hand” (John 3:35). But the author of the Epistle to the Hebrews clearly says: "Today we do not yet see that everything was subdued to him" (2: 8).
    • “I overcame the world” (John 16:33), but the Garden of Gethsemane was still ahead.
    • "I ... have done the work that You have commissioned Me to do" (John 17: 4). However, Jesus still had to die “for our sins, according to the Scriptures” (1 Cor. 15: 3).
    • "And the glory that You gave Me, I gave them ..." (John 17:22). But believers will not receive final glorification until Christ returns and receives eternal life (Col. 1:27 cf. 2 Tim. 2: 10-12).
    • “… Let them see My glory, which You gave Me” (John 17:24). Jesus was not yet glorified until his ascension (Luke 24:26; 1 Tim.3: 16).
    • See also Romans 4: 17-21. Isaac was not yet born at the time his father received the promises; 2 Tim. 1:10. But people are still dying and will die until the end of the Millennium, when death will be destroyed (cf. 1 Cor. 15: 24-28).

    5. Similarly, eternal life is said to be possessed now, although it will be granted only in the future, "on the last day." This is proved in two ways: A) By showing that John is referring to the eternal life bestowed on the last day; B) By quoting other New Testament references that show that eternal life and ultimate salvation are still attributes of the future.

Here's the evidence to support this:

    • Eternal life will be granted on the "last day":
      • “But the will of the Father who sent Me is that of what He gave Me, nothing to destroy, but to resurrect everything on the last day"(John 6:39).
      • “This is the will of Him who sent Me, that everyone who sees the Son and believes in Him may have eternal life; and I will resurrect him on the last day"(John 6:40).
      • “He who eats my flesh and drinks my blood has eternal life, and I will raise him up on the last day"(John 6: 54).
      • Eternal life is promised (1 John 2: 24,25), but so far abides in the Son (1 John 5:11) until the “last day”, when it will be given to true believers.

    • Other passages that indicate that eternal life is not inherent in believers at this time:
      • « In hope eternal life, which was promised by the unchanging God in the word before the ages of ages ”(Titus 1: 2).
      • “That, having been justified by His grace, we on hope(in hope) have become heirs of eternal life "(Tit. 3: 7 compare with Rom. 8:24 -" For we are saved in hope. Hope, when he sees, is not hope; for if anyone sees, then what should he hope for) ? ").
      • “And these will go away into eternal torment, but the righteous into eternal life”(Matthew 25:46 compare with Dan 12: 2). The context of this passage indicates that the righteous will be judged first and then invited to enter into eternal life (Matthew 25: 31-46). This implies that the righteous do not have eternal life before entering it.
    • Salvation in its final form will come in the future:
      • "For now closer salvation for us, rather than when we believed ”(Romans 13:11). If salvation was near than when the saints believed, obviously they did not possess it in the present.
      • “Aren't they all ministering spirits sent to minister to those who have inherit the rescue?" (Heb. 1:14). The heir cannot own property in the present.
      • “… Into the helmet hopes salvation "(1 Thess. 5: 8). There is no need for a person to hope for what he already possesses.

    Is anger inherent in God?

Anger, as a feeling, is born from the Fall. In other words, anger is provoked by sin.

Of course, anger itself often becomes a sin, but not necessarily. For example, the anger of God is a necessary attribute of His Judgment, and one cannot do without an element of anger when defending justice.

So, if anger as a feeling was born as a result of the Fall, then God was not angry in eternity. He did not know this state until there was a reason. In eternity He experienced nothing but love. Love between Father, Son and Holy Spirit.

But today He is angry. He is angry with every injustice that occurs in the world.

Despite the fact that the Pope is angry, He still restrains His main anger. Although episodically and shows up somewhere in history. For example, He showed His anger at Sodom and Gomorrah.

Although the Pope has not yet released the collected anger, this anger literally hangs over anyone who consciously rejects faith in the atoning sacrifice of Jesus:

He who does not believe in the Son will not see life, but the wrath of God remains on him. (John 3:36)

It is important to understand that anger is not inherent in God. Because the cause of anger is unnatural - sin.

Since God did not create anyone to sin, the manifestation of His anger is causal. The original purpose of creation is to live in harmony, love and obedience to the Creator, and the creation, which deviated from this purpose, deviated through no fault or will of the Creator. Because it was the Pope that God created everyone for love.

Because anger is not inherent in God, He:

Anger manifested itself in the character of God, but it is not in the nature of God. God's nature is love, and an external cause is always needed for anger to be manifested. You don't need a reason to show love. The Father's love is unconditional and never fails. While His anger is only causal and temporary.

    Rise of the Angels

For the first time, the Pope had to experience anger when the devil, then the anointed cherub, sinned.

Before the appearance of sin, creation did not know God for being angry. The devil too. Otherwise, it would hardly have gone to an open uprising.

Let us ask ourselves a question: did the Creator have the right to immediately pour out his anger in response to the open rebellion of the angels? Undoubtedly. After all, He is the Judge.

We do not know for certain what was the law that the rebellious creation probably transgressed, (Isa. 45:12) however, it is safe to assume that such a law was supposed to regulate life in heaven and prohibit the sin that the devil committed. And that's why:

Here we see 2 key principles:

    1) violation of the law automatically arouses the anger of the author of the law.
    2) While there is no pre-established law, there is no and its violation

The second statement clearly explains the first:
breaking the law automatically arouses the anger of the author of the law, because if there were no previously established law, there would be no violation of it.

For example, when a radiologist hangs a “do not enter” sign on the door of the office, otherwise there is a threat to the health of those in the corridor, then the one who entered without being called will automatically cause the doctor to be angry. And if the doctor didn't put up such a sign, then why be angry?

Likewise, the insurgents could not have been charged without a predetermined law.

We see here that God imputed two things to the cherubim: iniquity and sin. It was actually one thing though.

In another way, lawlessness can be called a violation of the law.

Violation is imputed only in the territory where the law is in force. It is impossible to violate, which is not. And where there is a violation, there is inevitable anger for it.

When the plan of the rebels was finally revealed, the Pope did not pour out His anger on them. Otherwise, they would have long been at least in the abyss. And as a maximum in the lake of fire.

The demons are well aware that the punishment has been postponed. When they encountered Jesus in the Gadarene country, they appealed to him with this very understanding.

Perhaps the Pope postponed the execution of the punishment so that the creation that remained faithful to Him could see the final corruption of those who fell away and be convinced of the justice of the final judgment for them, no matter how exaggerated it may seem at the beginning.

Another possible reason: so that creation would never again dare to do such things afterwards; so that it learns to serve God out of love for God, and not out of fear of a superior power, which is supposedly ready to instantly destroy the dissenter.

But mostly Daddy God postponed the demonstration of final anger, because He still spares the unbelievers living on earth, read rebellious people for whom there is still a chance to be saved.

Although God did not deprive the rebellious angels of their freedom, He separated them from His presence, expelling them beyond the outer boundaries of heaven, into the territory that came to be called the Kingdom of Satan or heaven. It all happened during a lightning force operation:

The Lord Jesus reminds the 70 disciples of this important event upon their return from the encounter (mass expulsion of demons): “I saw Satan falling from heaven like lightning” (Luke 10:18).

"Saw" stands in the past tense, that is, we are talking about a past event. The Lord seems to notice:

“You say demons obey you? That's what it is. I saw how at once all the demons were cast out into the skies. It happened before my eyes, and it happened as quickly as lightning flashes. "

After the expulsion of Satan and his angels to the heavenly area, Pope God judged them in heaven. This event also mentions Scripture.

Since Satan is still not captured, the case should have been resolved in the absence of a defendant on him. The fact that such cases start in heaven is indirectly evidenced by the following place: (Num.16: 49)

In the trial of the Lucifer case, he and his accomplices were indicted and finally sentenced. A lake of fire was prepared for its execution. (Prepared (Matthew 25:41) -hetoimazo- make it ready for use).

The judgment was announced on earth through God's Son, who was the first to inform those living on earth that he was the prince of this world, that is, the devil was condemned. (John 16:11)- and that the devil and his angels are prepared for eternal fire (Matthew 25:41).

At the end of the 1000-year reign of Christ on Earth, which will end with the judgment at the white throne, the expression of the Pope's anger will cease and will never be renewed.

There will be no reason for anger. No one else will give a reason for him. Everyone will remember the horrific consequences of the Fall and will receive, as an eternal reminder, the opportunity to observe a panoramic view opening to the place where worms and fire will be seen tormenting the condemned.

That is why we will always be afraid and at the same time love God infinitely, remembering how once, incarnate in man, He redeemed us at the cost of incredible suffering on the cross.

The difference between the anger of God and man.

Let us compare the anger of God and the anger of man.
What is there in God's wrath that is not in the wrath of man?

First, the Pope is just in His anger and never goes beyond the bounds of satisfied justice. In His wrath He not_favour_of_emotions ... In other words, God controls His anger and gives it out when and how much is needed. Moreover, He alone knows when and how much is needed.

A person in anger, inevitably boils. He knows no boundaries and does not set them. He wants to immediately throw out his anger and loses in this measure. Emotions control him, not he emotions.

A person's anger is inevitably biased, biased, and prejudiced. It only seems to a person that it is fair. He does not take into account all the nuances that the Holy Spirit sees. For example, it does not take into account the degree of pressure experienced by the one who committed the offense and thereby caused our indignation.

Experiencing anger, God simultaneously grieves over the lost state of man, looking for a chance to acquire it for Himself. He alone can combine these two feelings:

When and why does God need anger? God's wrath is needed as an instrument of judgment. We see this from the following verse:

If God is a Judge, then as a Judge He can and must express His anger. The wrath of God is righteous, that is, it always results in justice restored. The Pope's wrath to protect the righteous.

    Unlike human anger. Because:

In other words, human anger does not lead to justice restored in the correct way, as it happens with God, and therefore demons of anger are usually involved in the manifestation of human anger.

Someone will ask: does it mean that God can show anger, but man cannot?

Having faith and a good conscience, which some have rejected, shipwrecked in faith; such are Hymenaeus and Alexander, whom I gave to Satan so that they might learn not to blaspheme.

Although inspired by the Holy Spirit, such anger still has strict restrictions beyond which a person of power has no right. This is fraught with extremely undesirable consequences for him.

Anger is a powerful tool of judgment; the risk of abuse is high. When Moses just once stopped controlling or containing his anger, it cost him his entrance to the promised land.

If Saul, the king of Israel, won his first battle with a righteous anger against his enemies, and this was a direct action of the Holy Spirit (1 Sam.11: 6), then later he began to abuse anger, because of which he began to suffer from a gloomy disposition. In fits of anger, he was already specifically tormented by an evil spirit.

This is why the right to righteous anger must be delegated to those who have the ripe fruit of the Spirit. When he judges, not appointed to judge, or not having authority, such, says Jesus, judges by external judgment, judges according to the flesh.

The Pope, as Judge, is angry. And he judges by righteous judgment. In the same way, he who has his own area of responsibility becomes angry as a judge, and as a judge, judges by a righteous court. All the rest inevitably carry out lynching.

Those who are entrusted in the church with the right to judge the internal, that is, sinning believers, and in particular cases of resistance to the Gospel - and unbelievers, cannot do without an element of anger in emotions. (Acts 13: 8-11)

By showing anger, judges do not lose control of themselves. Like God, a righteous Judge does not lose control of himself by showing anger. The Holy Spirit, as a rule, confirms the verdict.

The wrath of a righteous man with delegated authority is not in defense of his own interests, but in defense of the interests of the Kingdom. Much of this anger relates to the ministry of the elders. Either the elders of Israel during the Old Testament, or the elders of the New Testament church.

It is the elders who have to deal with conflict situations. It is the elders who have control over themselves in crisis situations, and can control emotions ...

Elders, they are also elders, they are spiritual, they are mature, are those who can remain impartial, impartial in their judgments and extremely attentive so as not to go beyond the limits of what is permitted in the use of severity in the power given to them by the Lord. If possible, they would rather avoid the use of such rigor than exercise it. (2 Cor. 13:10)

Paul refers to anger here as the severity delegated to him by the Lord to judge the inward.

See? Paul's appeal is exclusively to the spiritual. Only the spiritual is entrusted with responsibility in the church. Only a spiritual person has the competence to engage in correction. When a non-spiritual person is taken for correction, it ends badly. He inevitably crosses the line of what is permitted by the Spirit and falls into carnal emotions.

Therefore, the main circle of saints needs to focus on the commandment, common to all, not to judge, and therefore not to be angry at all.

The anger of a person, whether a believer or an unbeliever, in defense of the wounded interests of the person himself. That is why it is called “human anger”. We will consider it in the future.

Human anger is inspired by wounded emotions and is divided into equitable and vain.

Equitable everyone experiences anger at different times, since everyone has a sense of justice invested by God, while everyone who is angry in vain, is already immediately subject to trial: (Matthew 5:22) .

Though equitable anger and everyone has a place to be, but only up to a limited time limit:

This type of anger cannot be given an outlet through angry statements or impulsive responses.

Summarizing what has been said, to summarize: a person is usually angry
-or, speaking in the name of God, as a person bearing responsibility,
-or in your own name ...

    Let's put the Scripture verse just quoted in context. What is it about? About anger on your own behalf;
    - while you feel such anger, even though it is three times fair, do not give it a way out;
    - when experiencing this type of anger, extinguish it as soon as possible;
    - otherwise, inevitably give place to the devil through evil words or actions.

Conclusion from the above: all saints can from time to time experience anger within themselves, as a response to the injustice shown to them personally, but at the same time they should not allow this anger to manifest and should try to extinguish it at the level of feeling.

    Human anger: features.

In the overwhelming majority of cases, Scripture warns us precisely against human or household_rage ... The poured out anger of a fool is an uncontrollable internal discontent expressed in an external irritating action.

According to the above verse: to contain even just anger is wisdom, and to pour out is foolishness.

Let's go back to the nature of anger. Let's remember how it arises: (Rom. 4:15)

Righteous law produces righteous anger, and human law also produces human anger. Even a biblical law or a biblical requirement, the fulfillment of which is required or expected of others by us, and not by God, becomes human. Because of what, by the way, we get angry with human anger even for the seemingly correct reason.

In other words, when on a personal level we make our demands to our neighbor, even if they are biblical: whether to a brother or a matchmaker, but he, a matchmaker, does not fulfill these requirements, anger boils in us. This is an immutable spiritual principle. We are, as it were, made Judges of the law, which is actually not true.

When we do not hold back such boiling anger by faith, we inevitably cross the line where we become guilty before God.

Until some of our relatives, friends or acquaintances do not meet our expectations, even very good ones, we feel dissatisfied.

Dissatisfaction within us constantly produces anger, even if it looks like sluggish grumbling.

We don't consider grumbling to be as bad as screaming, for example. In fact, this is not the case.

When King Asa became angry, he was just in irritation and nothing more. However, the consequences of this turned out to be more than disappointing for him.

Thus, hanging the law on our neighbor and not seeing the neighbor hurry to fulfill it, we feel anger. The law is imposed by God, not by us. In no case should we take the place of the Author of the law.

By being angry all the time about how others are misbehaving, we embrace a spirit of control and act irresponsibly in it. We must resolutely get rid of this. We must learn to accept our neighbor as he is. It is enough to tell a person once and if he did not listen to us, you should leave him alone, so that God will change him, not us. We should always be satisfied in every situation.

Because “happy” is not necessary when everything around you suits you. You are “happy” when you decide not to suffer from the way others behave.

You feel good regardless of how others behave. People around you will always give cause for dissatisfaction. Whether we refuse to take advantage of this occasion, that is the solution.

Therefore: being content is a choice. Because you are not a victim of the circumstance, but free from its influence. Son or daughter of Heavenly Pope.

Your contentment does not depend on what is happening around you.
Your contentment depends on what's going on inside you.
Just leave control of your emotions to the Holy Spirit.
Learn to manage your emotional sphere with His help.

Include for this the faith given to you.
And people who annoy you will correct themselves.
    And regardless of your experiences.
    And certainly not on time.

The Consequences of Human Anger ...

What it means to be prudent is clarified by the next verse 9: do not repay with curse; in other words, don't be angry.

The next consequence of anger, which we have already mentioned, is the severing of communion with the saints.

A person who is prone to anger is also inclined to stir up conflict; he quickly loses friends, does not maintain long-term friendships. His irascibility acts repulsively on others, like a push in the nose until it bleeds.

When two people who are prone to anger get close, their relationship falls apart even faster. Barely boiled. Just a little, scattered.

Anyone who is next to the irritable is always hard from his eternal irritation. Solomon says: it is easier to bear the weight of a stone than such anger.

A difficult character weighs on others. Being in an atmosphere of grumpiness is a real test of faith. The more Spirit-filled you are, the more sensitive you are to such contentiousness. Scientists say: a flash of anger takes the energy of a whole day's work.

This is how roughly the angry one will fall out of the circle of fellow believers.

An angry person rarely realizes that something is wrong with him, and not with another. He does not understand that he is imperceptibly degrading, and not just not growing in the Spirit.

Leonardo Da Vinci painted the painting "The Last Supper" for about forty years, being in constant search of models for the faces of Christ and the apostles. At the very beginning of his work, he was attracted by the surprisingly gentle features of the young youth Pietro Bondinelli. Pietro Bondinelli agreed to pose and Leonardo painted an image of Christ from him.
After 40 years, in search of a model for the last character in the painting of Judas, Leonardo ran into a man who had just been released from prison. Leonardo was delighted with his find. The tramp's face bore all the traces of anger and anger necessary for a portrait of Judas. When the great master began to paint the face of Judas from this vagabond, he was surprised to recognize in him the once gentle youth Pietro Bondinelli. Sin played a terrible joke with Pietro. Having gone down in history as a model for the most beautiful character in the painting - Jesus Christ, 40 years later he came up as a model for the most repulsive - for Judas. When viewers today look at the picture and compare 2 characters on it: the Lord and His traitor, no one guesses without the necessary explanations that this is one and the same person.

Another consequence of anger is torment from the devil.

We let this happen if we flash over trifles, like a match. The consequences of this disease, mental problems and other troubles, as an invariable payment for a nervous state.

If you suffer damage because of anger, it is pointless to say: the devil attacked me. The devil attacked, and who allowed? Don't blame everything on the devil. One must honestly confess before God the sin of contentiousness, and then decisively dominate it. An example of the punishment with which an angry one punished himself during his lifetime:

And here is an example of a person who managed to tame his anger:

Interestingly, Asa acquired the disease, being angry with the man of God, and Naaman got rid of it, being able to tame such anger.

The last consequence of unrestrained anger is the danger of losing salvation. This consequence cannot be ignored; the New Testament clearly speaks about it.

Let us ask ourselves whether it is necessary to violate the entire list in order to fall under the definition: "they will not inherit the kingdom"? Of course not. Anyone who breaks one point of the law is guilty of breaking the whole law. To go to hell, you don't have to drink, you just need to kill; you can not commit adultery, just do magic. For every single deed of the flesh, a person runs the risk of not inheriting the Kingdom of God. And now, among these separate deeds of the flesh, it is anger that appears!

After crossing the line of death, many Christians who have justified their anger under various pretexts will experience shock. They will find out that, it turns out, Jesus did not throw words into the wind and did not say anything just like that. His warnings must be taken literally.

Reinhard Bonnke's CFAN ministry documentary about a resurrected pastor from Nigeria gives a testimony where a black pastor talks about how, after dying in a car accident, he visited heaven and the underworld places of the earth accompanied by an angel of God. During the testimony with accompanying resurrection footage during a large evangelistic meeting, the pastor simultaneously declares that he will now be extremely careful not to give place to anger and quarrels with his wife, because he values his place in heaven very much and does not want to lose it. The last statement becomes clear if you find out the information that was not included in the film, namely that the angel told the pastor that he was not going to heaven at all, but to hell, because on the eve of the accident he quarreled with his wife and did not repent ...

I see in these words of Jesus not some kind of classification, but this is what: for any vain anger there are automatically consequences; it is worth going a little further in this anger, and these consequences become simply catastrophic!

In other words, Jesus showed here how, with the gradual growth of anger, its consequences simultaneously increase disproportionately. At first, a person just grumbles, then it would seem a little inflamed and now he does not notice how he crosses the line of hell. If you don’t believe, reread the words of the Lord carefully.

For Christians who reserve the right to be angry, Paul mourned, although outwardly they were still believers and led a church life:

This is why you shouldn't let your anger come out under any guise.

Today, those who have fallen under the influence of worldly psychologists agree that it is harmful to suppress anger, it must be given a way out. It is supposedly useful to “let off steam”. Otherwise, they say, a person will fall into long-term stress. It's like saying, if sin tempts you persistently, just satisfy it.

What can you say to this? Even if there is someone who can get rid of stress in this way on earth, the most long-term stress will be later, in hell. That is why those who of Christ crucified the flesh with passions and lusts.

5 Words from the Word to Tame Anger:

    1- repent.
    2- goodbye.
3- crucify the flesh with faith.
    4- soak in the Spirit.
5- leave communication with the angry.

    1 - repent

In every case of anger, quarrel, and especially family strife, one must repent and ask for forgiveness. Repent to God and ask forgiveness from the one with whom we are angry.

How to ask for forgiveness? For example: "please forgive me, I was intemperate, I gave place to anger, I did not act out of love."

You cannot justify anger by shifting the blame to the one who is the instigator. If you succumbed to a provocation, then you are also to blame. The other side may be to blame, as the initiator of the scandal, but that does not excuse you.

Ignorance of the law does not exempt from the consequences, therefore, you also need to repent for those situations that occurred in childhood, when we were subjected to violence, and we snapped or raged. You never know what we did not know then how to react correctly. We suffered damage nonetheless. Just ask the Pope God for forgiveness that you were angry in return.

    2 - goodbye.

What you definitely need to do to tame your anger and get rid of its consequences is without forgiveness. Be generous, goodbye to the offender, because you too have been forgiven a lot.

Not forgiving is inevitable revenge. Even if it's just a dissatisfied attitude, which is still poison.

Anger calls out damage. Damage to the soul, damage to the spirit. Forgiveness, on the other hand, leads to their healing. Vindictive - he's angry. To hide revenge is to cultivate the character of the devil, not Jesus.

When you avenge yourself even with an angry attitude, you do not allow God to protect you. And when you forgive, the whole sky stands up for you. So don't hold on to a sense of wounded justice.

A PERSON WITHOUT ABUSE IN CHILDHOOD SHOULD ALSO FORGIVE PARENTS AND RELATIVES. VIOLENCE ON THEIR SIDE COULD BE BOTH VEROUS AND PHYSICAL.

THE CHILD DIDN'T KNOW HOW TO PROTECT AND REACTED IN ONE OF TWO POSSIBLE WAYS, EACH OF WHICH HURTED HIM IN ITS OWN.

A GROUP OF ANGER DEMONS COULD ENTER IF THE REACTION TO REJECTION WAS AGGRESSIVE.

AND IF IT WAS PASSIVE, THEN OTHER DEMONS WERE INTRACTED: A PERSON WITH SUCH REACTION USUALLY FORMES A FEELING OF GUILT, A COMPLEX OF INSUFFICIENCY.

    3 - crucify the flesh.

We must by faith crucify the flesh on the cross of Jesus and not give it the slightest chance to manifest. Prudence and indulgence are indispensable in this type of anger management.

4 - be filled with the Spirit.

What will help you remove the tendency to be angry is the help of the Holy Spirit. Therefore, be saturated with Him. This will take time. And a lot ...

If you pour a glass of water onto a sponge, the sponge will remain almost dry, but if you pour the same amount drop by drop, gradually, the whole sponge will be saturated.

How to be impregnated with the Spirit? Concentrating on God, you can lie down. Meditating in silence about His goodness and beauty.

This is how you begin to allow perfect peace into yourself and let go of anger. And then nothing will touch you to the quick as it did before.

By being saturated, you are sanctified by the Spirit. When you become so sanctified, peace multiplies in you, which will drive out the rest of the anger.

Slow in words does not mean slow in any words. If the words are good, let them come out of you in any quantity. It's about the words of anger. That is, if you want to be slow to anger, be slow to angry statements. Feelings of anger will not immediately become a sin if you do not give it a way out. What has been said does not mean that we have to put up with the feeling of anger all the time, but that even if we are not yet splashing out our feelings, we must quickly extinguish them inside ourselves.

And if you have already opened your mouth and gave yourself the will to speak out? Well then, you're definitely in trouble. What's the difference, big or small. Until you repent.

Therefore, choose to become a person, about whom they say: "like I got water in my mouth," they provoke you, but you are silent. Whatever happens, you keep everything and keep your mouth shut. The Holy Spirit will help you to do that. Especially when you are saturated with Him, not missing opportunities.

To use this restraining lever, simply tell yourself:
    - I deny myself the right to speak in anger,
-I deny myself the right to have the last word,
-Holy Spirit back up my decision in the mighty name of Jesus.
Dad will only be pleased with such words.

It is the same if you feel fear or doubt. You can feel both, but as long as you resist fear and give no room for doubt, as long as you do not allow it to build a nest in your mind, you are still in faith, you are still conquering.

Once a missionary in India baptized a Hindu soldier. That one was big the strong man, a first-class wrestler. All his friends were afraid of him. But after the conversion, the lion turned into a lamb. A few months later, one of the soldiers began to chuckle at him: "Now we will find out if you are a true Christian." Taking a cup of hot soup, he poured it over his chest. Everyone in the room held their breath, expecting the unbridled outburst of anger for which the convert was famous. Instead, he calmly unbuttoned his waistcoat and wiped off his burnt chest. Then he turned calmly and said, “This is what I should have expected. Becoming a Christian - to become persecuted. But my Savior was patient, and I want to be like Him. "

5 - leave communication with the angry.

Anger prevention is to stop communicating with the angry person.
Friendship with the angry is the devil's trap.

That is, you need to stop making friends with someone who constantly scolds others in your presence. Such friends are catalysts for your anger. They change your attitude towards people and subsequently - the cause of many troubles.

If people do not change, such ties must be severed. Don't say how? to be left without a friend? It is better without such a friend now than without the Best.

36 Whoever believes in the Son has eternal life, and whoever does not believe in the Son will not see life, but the wrath of God remains on him.
    (John 3:36).

This verse is often used as evidence for the teaching that a person can be saved only by faith in Christ, a faith that is not accompanied by any deeds of obedience. This teaching is also called the teaching of salvation by faith alone.

Faith in the name of Jesus Christ as the Son of God is obedience to God:

23 And His commandment is that we believe in the name of His Son Jesus Christ and love one another, as He commanded us.
    (1 John 3:23).

Obviously, faith in the name of Christ and faith in Christ are one and the same. It is also evident that faith in Christ includes everything that Christ requires of us.

A careful study of John 3:36 shows that faith in the Son includes obedience to the Son.

« Non-believer»In this verse this is a translation of the participle in the form of the nominative case, singular, male apeithon(initial form - apeitheo), which means “unconvincing; difficile"; "disobedient"; "Give up faith and obedience."

For this reason, in other translations of the New Testament we find such variants as “not submitting to the Son”; "Who does not submit to the Son"; "Who disobeys the Son"; "Who does not obey the Son."

It only remains to note that the word “ believer"At the very beginning of the verse it is pisteuo"believe; believe"; "Place trust."

All of this means that refusing to obey the Son is tantamount to unbelief. This proves that faith in Jesus Christ implies the fulfillment of the requirements (that is, the commandments) that He puts forward.

In order for a person to believe in Christ, he must trust God, repent of his sins, confess faith in Christ as the Son of God and be baptized into Him:

3 Do you not know that all of us who were baptized into Christ Jesus were baptized into his death?
4 So we were buried with Him by baptism into death, so that, as Christ was raised from the dead by the glory of the Father, so we also can walk in a renewed life.
    (Rom 6: 3-4).

    JOHN 6:37
37 ... and he who comes to me I will not cast out.

Oh, what a foundation of faith! It cannot be that - a man came to Him and was expelled. Jesus said, "He who comes to Me I will not cast out!"

    GOSPEL OF JOHN 3: 14-21
14 And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, so must the Son of Man be lifted up,
15 that everyone who believes in him should not perish, but have eternal life.
16 For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish, but have eternal life.
17 For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world might be saved through him.
18 He who believes in Him is not condemned, but he who does not believe is already condemned, because he has not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.
19 The judgment is that the light came into the world; but people loved darkness more than light, because their deeds were evil.
20 For everyone who does evil hates the light and does not go to the light, lest his deeds be exposed, because they are evil.
21 but he who does righteousness goes to the light, so that his deeds may be made manifest, because they are done in God.

    GOSPEL OF JOHN 3:36
36 Whoever believes in the Son has eternal life, and whoever does not believe in the Son will not see life, but the wrath of God remains on him.

    GOSPEL OF JOHN 5:24
24 Truly, truly, I say to you, he who hears my word and believes in him who sent me has eternal life and does not come into judgment, but has passed from death to life.
ACTS OF THE HOLY APOSTLES 3: 19,20
19 So repent and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out,
20 Let the times of refreshing come from the presence of the Lord.

    EPHESIANS 2: 8,9
8 For by grace you are saved through faith, and this is not from you, it is God's gift:
9 not from works, so that no one can boast.
You have the mind to understand for yourself what the Bible says. Again, I warn you: do not listen to the explanations of people who tear out certain passages from Scripture and confuse you.
They don't care about your soul, or they wouldn't try to rob you of your true Christian experience. If they had any love for you, they would at least allow you to believe the Bible as it is. And they would encourage you to have Bible experience.
When they fight so hard to take your advantage away from you, it would be foolish of you not to “wake up” and see that they are agents of the devil who send people to hell. It doesn't matter that they are the most sophisticated and religious people you have ever met - if they steal God's blessings from you, they do not serve God.
The Bible says: “And no wonder: because Satan himself takes the form of an Angel of light, and therefore it is not a great thing if his servants also take the form of ministers of righteousness: but their end will be according to their works” (2 Cor. 11: 14,15).

    New Birth Water
We read that Jesus said: “Do not be surprised that I told you: you must be born again” (John 3: 7). Just before saying this, He said: "... Truly, truly, I say to you, unless one is born of water and the Spirit, he cannot enter the Kingdom of God" (John 3: 5).
    What

    - John 3:36

Such people who hear the word, but do not commit themselves to fulfill it and apply it in their lives, live in delusion and self-deception. They cannot experience the healing and liberating power of truth, because, holding fast to unrighteousness, they suppress and drown out the truth (Rom. 1:18). With such people, a lot of problems will arise, since they want not only to be in disobedience themselves, but also to fight against the real preachers of the liberating truth. Our only way to help them is to challenge them to submit to the lordship of Jesus through practical acceptance of the Word of God. But if they do not want this, then they cannot remain in fellowship with true believers. The Lord promised to intercede for the truth preached and to cleanse His church. Their madness will be revealed in front of everyone, says verse 9. This means that true believers will mature to such an extent that the difference between true followers of the Lord and fellow travelers on the bandwagon who fear true submission to the Lord and hold tight to their own notions will be clearly visible. Our consolation in this present moment of chaos is that in the end the church will be clean and strong, truly reflecting the essence of the Lord, His beauty, love, mercy and holiness. This spiritual view gives the fighters a firm hope in the struggle against the spirit of this world.

And then again you will see the difference between the righteous and the wicked, between serving God and not serving Him.

    - Malachi 3:18

As servants of God, we commit ourselves to the truth and let it rule our lives. Truth does not come from our feelings or opinions, but from the written Word of God. It is the unchanging foundation of our life and ministry. Since we believe that the Word was given by God, it is able to reveal in us its power of conviction, correction, and instruction.

Paul goes on to describe conflict in the end-time church and points out the ingredients for success. Success in our service to the Lord begins with the unleashing of the power of God's Word in our own hearts.

Wicked people and deceivers will thrive in evil, deceiving and deluding themselves. But you abide in what you have been taught and what has been entrusted to you, knowing who you have been taught; besides, you know from childhood the scriptures that can make you wise for salvation by faith in Christ Jesus. All Scripture is inspired by God and is useful for teaching, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness, may God's man be perfect, to everyone good deed cooked.

    - 2 Timothy 3: 13-17

Since there is a connection between the belief in the Divine authority of the Word and the action of the Word in us, the enemy tries to attack the church in a special way in this. He wants to present Scripture as a product of human labor, using all kinds of pseudoscientific arguments. If we resist these temptations and look at Scripture as the Word of God as it really is, it can work in us.

Therefore, we also ceaselessly thank God that, having received from us the word of God that we heard, you received it not as a human word, but as the word of God - as it is in truth - which acts as a believer in you.

    - 1 Thessalonians 2:13

God's Word makes a profound liberation in believers, which cannot be achieved in any other way. Only the Word of God separates soul and spirit and brings to light the hidden motives of our heart (Heb. 4: 12-13). Insincerity, falsehood, selfish ambition and other destructive motives of behavior disappear from our lives. There will be more and more light in us, and it will shine brighter through us.

A reverent and constant devotion to the written Word of God will produce in us the fear of the Lord, as, for example, is described in Deuteronomy.

But when he sits on the throne of his kingdom, he must copy for himself the list of this law from the book that is with the priests of the Levites, and let him have it, and let him read it all the days of his life, so that he may learn to fear the Lord his God. And he tried to fulfill all the words of this law and these ordinances; lest his heart be puffed up before his brothers, and lest he deviate from the law either to the right or to the left, so that he and his sons dwell long days in his kingdom in the midst of Israel.

    - Deuteronomy 17: 18-20

Additional help with dealing with the Word of God is found in the New Heart chapter. But studying and applying the Word of God alone is not enough. We need something else. Otherwise, how can one explain the fact that there are so many people who have a huge store of biblical knowledge, and, nevertheless, do not have the power of conviction? So let's turn to the next very important point to answer the question: how can our swords become sharp again?
