Table football out of the box. Do-it-yourself football

I could not resist and bought a large table football kicker "Tabletop Football" at a very attractive price in the Lenta hypermarket. A beautifully made game table in a bright colorful package was a gift for February 23rd. The design of the game will just satisfy the needs of beginner kicker players. In addition, this game is an excellent occasion to gather friends for an interesting and exciting pastime. The game table is delivered partially assembled. The final installation includes several steps and is done by hand. Detailed step-by-step instructions with photos and videos are given below.

Instructions for assembling a board game kicker with your own hands

Tabletop Football is intended for stationary installation on a gaming table or on the floor. This football model from TableTop is equipped with six game handles with 3 players each. For greater convenience of the game, the playground is installed on legs, thanks to which it has become convenient to play this table football even on the floor. Table football is delivered unassembled. Assembly tool in the form of a wrench screwdriver is included. Assembling a kicker does not require special knowledge. Before assembly, we remove a large bag with parts from the packing box and check the completeness. The package must contain:

    1. Six bars with Chinese players (T1, T2, T3, T4, T5 and T6)
    2. Two short sides with goals (E1)
    3. Two long panels (E2)
    4. Artificial turf playing field (E3)
    5. Two scoreboards for counting goals scored (E4)
    6. Four clamps for fixing the scoreboard (E5)
    7. Four legs (E6)
    8. 12 cushion washers (A1)
    9. Six handles (A2)
    10. Six caps per rod (A3)
    11. Eight self-tapping screws with a washer for fastening the slats (B1)
    12. Eight screws with washer and nut for fastening the legs (B2)
    13. Six self-tapping screws for attaching the handles to the bars (B3)
    14. two soccer balls
    15. Hex wrench - Phillips screwdriver

Building a kicker involves several steps.

Step 1. With the help of self-tapping screws B1, we connect together the two short sides E2 and the long panel E1 with our own hands. We tighten the screws with a hex wrench. The grooves of the sides and the panel must be inside and aligned at the edges. Don't put too much effort into turning the self-tapping screw (the panels are made of MDF).

Step 2. Insert the E3 playing field into the grooves of the assembled frame.

Step 3 Install shock absorbing washers A1 on rods T1-T6. See photo.

Step 4. Install the bars with the players in the holes of panel E2. Please refer to the attached photos. The Chinese players of each team must face the opponent.

Step 5 Attach the second long E2 panel to the frame. Please note - the edges of the playing field must be in the grooves.

Step 6 Install the scoreboard. Watch the video.

Step 7. Install protective caps A3 on the ends of the rods without holes. See photos and videos.

Step 8. Consistently fix with the help of self-tapping screws B3 handles A2 on the edges of the rods with holes.

Step 9. Sequentially install the legs E6, using two complete screws B2. Please note that the end of the leg should fit snugly against the plane of the playing field. See photo.

    Installing handles

The base of the game (see. Fig.) - plywood size 1160x580x20 mm. Side walls with a height of 160 mm are also made from it. Holes are drilled in the walls through which the rods will be passed, "controlling" the players. The structure is fastened with glue and screws, and the corners are reinforced with metal squares. To prevent the ball from lingering in the corners, glue triangular blocks into them.

Make the rods for the game, to which the figures of athletes are attached, from a thin metal tube Ø 10 mm. The handles for them can be made of wood or plastic tubes with an internal Ø 10 mm can be used.

Holes in the side walls for the rods are made according to their outer diameter. A support is attached to the opposite wall for each rod: a flange with a soldered tube into which the rod will be inserted.

    A - playing field; B - control rod with support: 1 - support, 2 - metal plate, 3 - tube, 4 - pin, 5 - plastic sleeve. 6 - felt ring, 7 - limiter ring; B - placement of players: 1 - goalkeeper line, 2 - defenders, 3 - midfielders, 4 - forwards. X is the distance of the longitudinal movement of the rod.

Each rod has a restrictive plastic ring; the distance between him and the wall will determine the lateral movement of this row of players.

Make figures of football players from plywood 5 mm thick and attach them to the rods with M3 bolts.

Gates can be made of iron or measuring wire Ø2 mm and wire mesh.

The soccer ball is a wooden, rubber or plastic ball Ø 25-30 mm.

Board sports games are a long-standing hobby that is equally interesting for both children and adults. One such universally exciting game is table football. And by the way, it would be wrong to treat this "fun" with condescension - such a sports game develops the eye and accuracy of movements well, teaches the ability to play in a team and perform actions coordinated with it.

The playing field is a box, in the walls of which metal rods are fixed, which can rotate and move in a horizontal direction, from one edge of the field to another. On the rods there are figurines of football players, painted in different team colors and arranged in a certain order on the field. There are gates along the edges of the field.

The box is made of hardwood, the bottom is made of durable plywood. The finished playing field is painted with green paint, like grass, and white marks are applied. Figures of players are cut out of plywood 10-12 mm thick and also painted in the desired colors. Rods (about 8 mm in diameter) are made of iron, copper or brass, and figures of football players are attached with metal rivets. It is better to put small wooden balls on the ends of the rods so as not to be scratched during the game.

So that the ball-ball does not roll into the corners of the box, where the goalkeeper figure does not reach, these places are fenced off with a bar or any other barrier element.
