    The results obtained will most likely be in the range from 0 to 4.2 volts and can be interpreted as follows:

    1. 3.7 to 4.2 volts. The battery is fully charged and functional. In this case, the reasons for the fast discharge need to be looked for in another - for example, in the phone settings.
    2. 2.1 to 3.5 volts. The battery is not fully charged, the lower the value, the weaker the charge. Despite this, the phone should turn on and charge without problems, although the battery is clearly not the first freshness.

    How to restore a smartphone battery

    How the phone battery works

    Most gadgets have a battery function. There are several types of phone batteries:

    • Ni-Cd - nickel-cadmium;
    • Ni-Mh - nickel metal hydride;
    • Li-Ion - lithium-ion.

The voltage at the terminals, as a rule, is 2.6 V, but for lithium batteries this is not enough, in order to obtain a real voltage, you need to charge the battery to 3.2 V. Then the multimeter will begin to reflect the real voltage. It is necessary to ground the negative wire, and connect the red wire to the power supply; there is no need to set a large current.

    Aimax is convenient in that it supports several modes that differ for different types of phone batteries. Activate the appropriate mode (lithium polymer or lithium-ion), set the voltage to 3.7 V, and the charge to 1 A. The voltage will begin to rise, indicating a successful recovery of capacity.     Recovering phone battery capacity from another battery

    You will need any other 9 Volt battery, electrical tape, thin simple wire. This DIY phone battery recovery will be interesting to all electronics lovers. You can restore capacity using the following algorithm:

    1. Run the wires to the contacts of the battery to be repaired. Each pole needs its own.
    2. You cannot close plus and minus with the same wire, this will lead to a short circuit and you will no longer be able to restore the battery.
    3. Secure the contacts with electrical tape, making a note with a + and - marker.
    4. Connect the positive terminal to the "+" on the 9-volt battery, and the negative one in the same way.
    5. On this side, also secure the contacts with electrical tape.
    6. After a while, the battery should start heating up.
    7. When the battery becomes noticeably warm, you need to disconnect it from the "donor" and put it into the phone to check its operation.
    8. After turning on, immediately check the charge level, set the mobile to charge in standard mode.

    Using a resistor and a "native" charger

    This method is simple, you do not need special devices or devices, you only need your own charger. Phone battery repair will require the following:

    • resistor device with a minimum rating of 330 Ohm, maximum - 1 kOhm;
    • power supply 5-12 V (charger from the phone is suitable).

    To restore the battery, you need to perform the following simple wiring diagram: minus from the adapter to minus of the battery, plus is output through a resistor to plus.     Salt battery recovery

    In this video I will share my method of recovering saline finger-type batteries. To do this, we need the batteries themselves, electrical tape, a marker, scissors, a tester, a syringe and a working solution. First, let's check for performance.     Important information. Only saline batteries are suitable for this experiment. They should be intact on the outside, there should be no smudges or discharge. Batteries of other types, i.e. alkaline, alkaline or rechargeable batteries, are not suitable for this method. It is hazardous to health.
    So, we take a salt battery, find the connecting seam and at an angle of 90 degrees to the seam at a distance of 1 centimeter from the edge, make 4 marks. In these places we make holes with a drill for 4. We drill very carefully so as not to damage the shell, we only drill the outer shell, no more.

    After the holes are made for the batteries, we put them in one container with a plus on top. We fill it with working solution so that the level overlaps the upper drilling. We use 6 percent food vinegar as a solution. Fill in carefully. We leave the batteries in this state for 10-15 minutes. The temperature of the solution should be at room temperature. We wait 15 minutes and proceed further. After the batteries are saturated with the solution, carefully lay them out and put them seam down to dry so that the excess is absorbed onto the napkin. We leave in this state for 10 minutes. Next, we cover the hole with ordinary electrical tape.

    The final stage of our charge recovery experiment has come. We check with the device. We insert them into the flashlight and try to turn them on. The light is on. The experience was a success. Let me remind you that this method of prolonging the work is suitable only for salt batteries.

    Modern storage batteries remain one of the biggest challenges for both manufacturers and consumers. And it's not so much about the potential risk of fire, but about the gradual depletion of the power source itself. Therefore, one should not be surprised that with daily charging, the batteries can withstand a year or two of active use, after which their capacity drops dramatically and it becomes problematic to use your favorite gadget.       The most crucial moment. We put the battery on the table and press it down with a press. It is also categorically not recommended to use a vice or similar devices for repairs.

      When you're done, put a drop of epoxy on the hole and solder the sensor.

    Method number 2

    He is not able to reanimate a battery with a significantly reduced resource, but it can slightly extend its life. You shouldn't count on much, but a reanimated battery will be able to provide power to a modern smartphone while you are looking for a replacement.

    Necessary tools and materials: any power supply unit (5-12 V, current not less than 0.1 A), voltmeter or tester for voltage control, resistor (power not less than 500 mW, resistance from 330 to 1000 Ohm).

      If you do not have a spare power supply, almost any complete one from active network equipment (switches, routers, modems) will do. First, you should make sure that the parameters of the current produced by them correspond to the required ones.

      We release the contacts of the power supply and connect them to the dead battery: "minus" of the power supply with "minus" of the battery, and add a resistor to the "positive" line. Be sure to check the correct polarity with a multimeter.

      When everything is done, plug the power supply into the mains. The procedure time is no more than 2-3 minutes. If possible, control the process with a tester: the maximum allowable voltage is no more than 3.3 V.

    A few important notes

      Do not leave a problem battery unattended during repairs. Cases of spontaneous combustion are not a theory, but a harsh reality.

      Periodically check the temperature of the "client" with a remote thermocouple, electronic thermometer, or simply by hand. If the surface feels hot and not just warm to you, stop repairing immediately.

      Excessive charging currents should not be used. The most you can afford is 50mAh.
