On May 18, 2006, together with Mariana Popova, he performed from Bulgaria at the Eurovision Song Contest 2006 with the song "Let Me Cry" as a backing vocalist. Childhood

Azis was born in the city of Sliven on March 7, 1978 into a gypsy family of musicians. According to his own statement, he was born in Sliven prison, but his mother denies this. Grew up in the city of Kostinbrod (near Sofia) and in Sofia. He finishes his education after the 5th grade and sings with his father for a while. 1999-2005: Beginning and first successes

His first songs were included in the compilation DJ Folk Marathon. Azis contacts the producer of "Sunny Music" - Krum Asanov and brings his first published album with gypsy songs. The first album is called "Nokat", and Azis himself does not have a high opinion of him.

In 1999 his independent debut album "Bolka" was released. With the song topping the album, translated into the Romani language, Azis also receives his first big award - in August he was chosen as the singer of the year at the Gypsy festival in Stara Zagora. However, then, no one suspects about his future scandalous image.

The first provocation came in February 2000, when a video was shot for the song "Erotic" from the next album "You can eat and cry". At this time, external changes of the performer also begin. The singer appears on stage wearing makeup, blonde hair and hair extensions.

In July, in the then popular institution "Babylon", an advertisement for his second album "Muzhete Soscho Cry" was held. The first song is a duet with Tomi Chinchiri, already a hit, together with "Erotic". In a matter of days, the song becomes a total mania, radio stations include it nonstop in their programs, albeit without permission, and sales of the Azis 2002 album are growing at a cosmic speed.

In September of the same year, the clip "Nyama" was released. Top model Tetsi Krasimirova and Joro are filmed in it.

A concert at the Vasil Levski national stadium, a show in hall 1 of the NDK, the publication of the book “Az, Azis”, where the king of the popfolk tells piquant details of his personal life - turning points in the singer's fast-paced career.
