An ordinary miracle. The founder of Baltika will sell clothes in the Tsvetnoy Crime Tailor Taimuraz Bolloyev department store

    02.02.2010, "Excellent form" Taimuraz Bolloev

    Oleg Roldugin

Putin instructed his friend from St. Petersburg to change the clothes of the military. To this end, the Prime Minister even signed a decree: “To determine in 2010 the closed joint stock company BTK Group (St. Petersburg) as the only supplier of new military uniforms for servicemen participating in military parades, and for graduates of military educational institutions education of the Russian Ministry of Defense ".

Now work is underway to optimize the cost of the contract, - acknowledged the president of "BTK" Vladimir Kavzanovich. - Our task is to reduce the price of the kit without compromising on quality.

Alas, prices in Russia are usually reduced only upward. To make it clear what the approximate amount is: the form of the new sample was personally designed by couturier Valentin Yudashkin, so it is twice as expensive as the previous one.

Was it not for this that they decided to dress up the soldiers too, so that the tailor would work? Last year, the cost of an ordinary serial soldier's kit reached 26 thousand rubles, and the general's - 295 thousand. Presumably, this is not the limit. Inflation. On average, a lieutenant's uniform for the near future can be estimated at 50 thousand. "BTK" received an order for about 16 thousand copies. In total, this is 800 million rubles. Taking into account the ceremonial fennies, which will also be produced by the lucky one from St. Petersburg, only this "uniform from Yudashkin" will cost the budget somewhere in a billion!

A decent amount. Of course, BTK did not live in poverty anyway, releasing several brands at once: BestMen, Direktor, FOSP and Onegin. But over the past year, the demand for clothing has decreased by 30%.

The state order can significantly improve the financial condition of the manufacturer, rivals envy.

But the same tailors from St. Petersburg are already sheathed Russian Railways, Aeroflot, the tax, the Constitutional Court ... head of Olympstroy even when he was the owner of the brewery "Baltika" he found a common language with Putin and twice was his confidant in the presidential elections. As a result, when the beer market began to sink, Bolloev received tasty long-term construction projects in Sochi, and when a crisis began on the manufacturing front, he was given another almost billion-dollar state order.

"After Taimuraz Bolloev headed the state corporation Olymp-Stroy, it became clear that BTK Group would also participate in competitions within the framework of the 2014 Olympics."

Taimuraz Bolloev will dress the conductors

    Amera Carlos

The BTK Group company of Taimuraz Bolloev received another state order. The company has made a uniform for the personnel of the Sapsan train and intends to dress the conductors of all branded trains of Russian Railways.

The collection for staff was developed and made by BTK Group based on sketches by designer Alena Petrova, who won the design competition for employees of branded trains.

BTK Group did not report the cost of the order. So far, only the presentation form has been submitted, which must be certified. Where the order will ultimately be placed has not yet been decided. But it is obvious that BTK Group will now be among the main contenders.

Considering that there are more than a dozen branded trains in Russia, the company's income can be hundreds of millions of rubles. This is not the first time for BTK Group to participate in government orders (it was for the Federal Tax Service of the Russian Federation, the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation).

Experts note that government agencies and state corporations understand that uniforms, the design of which has not changed for years, need to be modernized. Therefore, a lot of tenders are currently being held.

For example, the new head of Aeroflot, appointed this spring, first of all announced the need to change the uniform. BTK Group also took part in this competition, but its results have not yet been summed up. After Taimuraz Bolloev headed the state corporation Olymp-Stroy, it became clear that BTK Group would also participate in competitions within the framework of the 2014 Olympics.

Portfolio of orders of CJSC BTK Group: in 2008 the company produced 700 thousand pieces of clothing. In the company's portfolio 50% are orders for uniforms and overalls, the remaining 50% are the production of men's suits. BTK Group has four production sites: in St. Petersburg, Vsevolozhsk, Podporozhye and Boksitogorsk.

BTK Group won a tender for the production of uniforms for Aeroflot employees

The total amount of the contract with the airline can reach $ 16 million

BTK Group, the president of the Olympstroy state corporation, Taimuraz Bolloyev, has won a tender for the production of a uniform for Aeroflot. The contract with an estimated value of up to $ 16 million provides for the equipment of 3.5-4 thousand employees of the aircraft operator. The corporate colors will be dark blue (for men's and women's winter clothing) and "red tangerine" (summer version for flight attendants).

Aeroflot held a tender for the production of "uniforms" from May 20 to June 30, 2009. As the airline manager told Kommersant, according to his results, clothing for both flight attendants and ground service employees will be sewn in St. Petersburg at the BTK Group CJSC enterprise, controlled by Olimpstroy president Taimuraz Bolloyev. Mr. Bolloev's company has extensive experience in working with system-forming enterprises and government agencies: BTK Group is the main supplier of uniforms for Russian Railways (it also serves the Sapsan high-speed train), and in February the company signed a contract with the Ministry of Defense for the production of a new uniform for Russian military personnel (models were developed jointly with Valentin Yudashkin).

Aeroflot spokesman Oleg Mikhailov confirmed information about the airline's cooperation with BTK Group, but chose not to comment on the terms of the agreement. Olga Kuznetsova, PR director of BTK Group, declined to make official comments.

A two-year contract with BTK Group, according to a Kommersant source at the airline, provides for uniforms for 3.5-4 thousand Aeroflot employees. The first 810 sets of clothing for flight attendants of the "most popular" New Year's flights will appear by December 25, and the airline's staff are scheduled to be fully equipped by February 9 (Aeroflot's birthday). The main shareholder of the Bosco di Ciliegi group, Mikhail Kusnirovich, believes that the cost of one set of clothing (for Aeroflot it is about 20 items) can be $ 2-4 thousand. That is, the total amount of the contract with Aeroflot can reach $ 16 million. For comparison: the Ministry of Defense planned to change clothes for their employees for 2.269 billion rubles. (approximately $ 77.7 million at the exchange rate of the Central Bank on December 7). […]

"BTK Group" (received this name in December 2007) is engaged in the production of workwear under the Trud brand, menswear brands FOSP and Onegin. Since 2005, the main shareholder of the group is Taimuraz Bolloev, ex-president of the Baltika brewing company and head of the Olympstroy state corporation. The production site is located in St. Petersburg. The revenue of the CJSC in 2008 was 1.447 billion rubles.

Aeroflot's clothing from the new supplier will look different. The new sets, developed by the Bunakova and Khokhlov Studio design bureau (designers Yulia Bunakova and Evgeny Khokhlov), will use dark blue (navy; for winter and summer uniforms for men and winter for women) and "red tangerine" (red mandarin; summer option for flight attendants). Dossier:

Taimuraz Bolloev has always been a very popular figure for the media and has always made sure that publications about him are positive for his image. Therefore, the first mention of him in the press in connection with the informal side of financing the election campaign of the former governor of St. Petersburg Vladimir Yakovlev at that time can be considered an exception to this rule.

The journalists had at their disposal a confidential document dedicated to the preparation of early elections in St. Petersburg. According to journalists, the memo was addressed to Vladimir Yakovlev. In particular, the following phrase was quoted from the document: “According to available information, VI Malyshev (Valery Malyshev, former vice-governor of St. Petersburg), together with the director of the Baltika brewery, TK Bolloyev. the possibility of returning part of the funds that were urgently spent on road repairs and the construction of an overpass at the Parnas industrial zone for the "election campaign ...". Also very active in this direction is the chairman of the board of "PSB" Vladimir Kogan.
    Vesti.Ru from 20.10.99

The second extremely unpleasant for Bolloev mention in the press of that time was the numerous publications related to the assassination of Ilya Vaisman, deputy general director of Baltika. Weisman was killed from a machine gun at the moment when he went to the window in the kitchen of his apartment. Ilya Vaisman's nephew, who studied at the Hebrew University of St. Petersburg (the main sponsor of this educational institution was Baltika), was shot in a similar way in 1997 in his apartment from a machine gun.

Vaisman held the position of financial director of Baltika OJSC and was the second person at the enterprise after General Director Taimuraz Bolloev. He oversaw all of the company's financial and investment projects. The receipt by Baltika in April 1998 of an EBRD loan in the amount of $ 40 million was called his personal merit. Weisman was well known in the financial circles of St. Petersburg, however, they characterize him ambiguously. As the chief financier of a "rich" enterprise, too many needed him and often appeared in the guise of a rather arrogant official. However, the brewery's permanent partners say that if the topic of the conversation was really important for Baltika, then Vaisman literally changed and became unusually active and enterprising.

According to some reports, Weissman was going to sell his share of the brewing company. In connection with his death, the issue of sale, according to the law, is postponed for six months, and then comes under the jurisdiction of the heirs. However, it was not clear how Baltika's actions could cause any kind of conflict.

Journalists were unable to get official comments from Baltika in connection with the tragedy. According to Kommersant's information, Taimuraz Bolloev is furious at one request to comment on something for the press. However, in behind-the-scenes discussions, he spoke in the spirit that the murder of Vaisman may be a reaction to the active promotion of the enterprise to other regions, "where it is not accepted to work honestly."

This murder has not yet been solved.
    Newspaper "Kommersant" No. 2 (1887) from 14.01.2000

In 2000, journalists for the first time noted Bolloev's closeness to Vladimir Putin. This happened in connection with Putin's celebration of his first birthday as Russian president. Bolloev was also on the relatively small list of invitees. Moreover, he was a master of ceremonies there and presented to Vladimir Putin a branded keg of Baltika beer.
    Newspaper "Kommersant" No. 189 (2074) of 10.10.2000

In the early 2000s, it was fashionable to publish birthday greetings to high-ranking officials and businessmen. In this regard, it seems interesting who Bolloev congratulated on his birthday from the pages of Kommersant. These are the people on whom what Bolloev achieved today depended: the then Minister of Economic Development and Trade of the Russian Federation German Gref, the head of the Presidential Administration of the Russian Federation Vladimir Kozhin, the then Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation Valentina Matvienko, the then Deputy Minister of the Russian Federation for Taxes and Duties Viktor Zubkov , Chairman of the Federation Council Sergei Mironov.
    Newspaper "Kommersant" No. 22 (2152) from 08.02.2001, No. 36 (2166) from 28.02.2001, No. 62 (2192) from 07.04.2001, No. 168 (2298) from 15.09.2001, No. 26 (2395) from 02/14/2002

It is interesting that Bolloev himself was congratulated from the pages of Kommersant only by the then editor-in-chief of the newspaper Nevskoe Vremya, Alla Manilova, who later became vice-governor of St. Petersburg and a person very close to Valentina Matvienko.
    Newspaper "Kommersant" No. 36 (2166) from 28.02.2001

The beginning of Bolloev's active "entry into power" can be considered the appointment of Aleksandr Nikonov, Vice President for Finance and Economics of the Baltika Brewery, as Chairman of the Finance Committee of the Government of St. Petersburg. In financial circles, the appointment of Mr. Nikonov was explained by the fact that the president of Baltika, Taimuraz Bolloev, had shown loyalty to the new head of the city during the pre-election period. According to Kommersant's information, the newly appointed Vice Governor for Economics and Finance Mikhail Oseevsky, who had previously been the first deputy chairman of the board of St. Petersburg-based Promstroybank (his largest client is Baltika), offered Valentina Matvienko to replace the head of the financial committee, Mr. Nikonov.
    Newspaper "Kommersant" No. 213 (2816) from 21.11.2003

In 2004, journalists drew attention to the proximity of Bolloev and the then Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian government, Minister of Agriculture Alexei Gordeev. During his visit to St. Petersburg, Taimuraz Bolloev was seen next to the Deputy Prime Minister.
    Newspaper "Kommersant-SPB" No. 27 (2866) from 14.02.2004

In April 2004, Taimuraz Bolloev found himself in the center of a scandal completely unexpected for the general public. The general partner of the Russian Football Championship, Baltika Brewing Company, gathered journalists in the Rosbalt agency building to present a new information portal and hold an internet conference with the participation of CSKA and Zenit players and coaches who had met in Moscow the day before. However, the players and the head coach of “Zenith” did not arrive at the event.

The journalists immediately called Zenit CEO Ilya Cherkasov. He literally said the following: "We have a certain misunderstanding with Baltika on economic issues, and therefore we do not consider it necessary to promote its shares." It is worth recalling that the relationship between Baltika and Zenit has left much to be desired since the brewing company, headed by Taimuraz Bolloyev, ceased to be a sponsor of the football team in 1996. One of the reasons for the quarrel at the time was the loss of “Zenith” at “Petrovsky” in the last match of the Russian championship to Moscow “Spartak” (1: 2), which did not allow Vladikavkaz “Alania” to take first place (Taimuraz Bolloev was born in Ossetia). In the future, "Baltika" quite actively supported Russian sports, but "Zenith" all these years did without its support.

According to other information, the reason for the decision of the general director of “Zenith” could have been the refusal of “Baltika” to sign an agreement with the football club on the sale of beer at the stadium “Petrovsky”.
    Newspaper "Kommersant-SPB" No. 61 (2900) from 04/06/2004

In the fall of 2004, Bolloev found himself at the center of an international scandal. The head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia, Irakli Okruashvili, said that the president of the Baltika brewery gave serious money to the leader of the separatists, Eduard Kokoity, to supply antennas to the cellular company Megafon. Georgia interpreted this as support for their military and political adversary and blocked the supply of beer to the Transcaucasus. The losses of "Baltika" from the Russian-Georgian conflict have already amounted to $ 850 thousand, in connection with which the company turned to the chambers of commerce and industry (CCI) of Russia and Georgia with a request to investigate the situation.
    Newspaper "Kommersant-SPB" No. 174 (3013) from 18.09.2004

In December 2004, Taimuraz Bolloev resigned from the post of head of the Baltika Brewing Company.

    Source: Newspaper "Kommersant" № 237 (3076) from 12/18/2004

Bolloev did not disclose the reasons for the resignation, however, it soon became clear that they were in a conflict between him and representatives of the owner of Baltika, Baltic Beverages Holding (BBH). So in the spring of 2005 it became known that Baltika could lose control over the main lobbying structure of the industry - the Union of Brewers of Russia - due to the fact that the ex-president of Baltika and the chairman of the council of the union, Taimuraz Bolloev, proposed to make his successor in this post Heineken President Viktor Pyatko. At the same time, BBH insisted on the candidacy of and. O. President of Baltika Anton Artemiev.

It was noted that a change in the leadership of the union could affect the alignment of forces in the Russian brewing market. Until now, all the executive bodies of the union were focused primarily on serving the BBH structures and solving their lobbying tasks. In unofficial conversations, the union was even called "the press service of" Baltika ". With the election of a new leadership of the union, the situation may change dramatically.
    Newspaper "Kommersant" № 38 (3122) from 04.03.2005

Some time later, Bolloev was elected chairman of the board of directors of the St. Petersburg Clothing Factory (FOSP), which by that time was the owner of a controlling stake in ZAO.
    Newspaper "Kommersant" No. 57 (3141) dated 01.04.2005

In the summer of 2005, the conflict between Bolloev and his former employers entered an open phase. Later, journalists called the incident corporate blackmail. Bolloev again found himself at the center of the conflict.

Baltika held a meeting of shareholders, at which the issue of buying out the Pikra brewing company from BBH was brought up. Pikra OJSC is the largest producer of beer, soft drinks and mineral water in Eastern Siberia. Trade marks: "Old friend", "Kupecheskoe" and "Legend". 70% of the shares belong to the BBH holding, about 15% - to Baltika. The company's sales in 2004 amounted to about 1 billion rubles.

A number of minority shareholders, on whose behalf ex-head of Baltika Taimuraz Bolloev spoke, voted against. It would seem that the necessary solution has been reached. Nevertheless, representatives of minority shareholders went to court demanding to challenge the results of the vote. They were not satisfied with the fact that Hartwall Capital, a company close to BBH, took part in the meeting of shareholders as a minority shareholder.

According to the Law on Joint Stock Companies, the majority shareholder, which is BBH, cannot vote on the issue of purchasing Pikra shares. Therefore, minority votes will be crucial. Mr. Bolloev himself currently has a little less than 1% of Baltika shares, so he decided to publicly call on the other minority shareholders to support him. As it is clear from the letter, minority shareholders do not understand from what sources Pikra shares will be paid: from Baltika's own funds or from attracted financing? Specific claims are presented to the United Financial Group, which was hired by the brewing holding to evaluate Pikra. UFG estimated 70% of Pikra's shares to be bought by Baltika at $ 67.5 million. Thus, the entire enterprise is valued at almost $ 100 million. account of Baltika's funds, paid for the overpriced Pikra package, to solve their own financial problems? transferred from Baltika shareholders to BBH.

Minority shareholders of Baltika stepped up immediately after BBH officially announced that it intends to merge all of its Russian factories on the basis of Baltika. Experts consider the actions of the dissatisfied minority shareholders to be quite coordinated. "In theory, minority shareholders could be backed by completely different companies that pursue completely different goals," says Albert Yeganyan, managing partner of the law firm Vegas Lex. "However, I am sure that they are acting in concert."

According to unofficial data, the Alfa-Eco company acted as an ally of Mr. Bolloyev in this confrontation.

In the end, Baltic Beverages Holding (BBH) presented a new plan to combine its assets on the basis of Baltika. Unlike the previous scheme, according to which the holding was supposed to receive more than $ 1 billion as a result of the consolidation of its Russian plants, the new option could cost its main subsidiary up to $ 600 million. This is the price that the minority shareholders of BBH plants had to pay (among them - the head of Baltika Taimuraz Bolloev), who actually blocked the merger.
    Newspaper "Kommersant" No. 8 (3339) dated 19.01.2006

In early July 2005, the ex-head of the Baltika brewing company, Taimuraz Bolloev, appeared before the public as the head of the supervisory board of the closed-end real estate investment fund of the same name. Mr. Bolloev directly promised state support to future co-investors of tourism and social infrastructure projects in which the mutual investment fund intends to participate. To which the Governor of St. Petersburg Valentina Matvienko immediately proposed to build an elite maternity hospital, and Valery Serdyukov - a ski resort on the Karelian Isthmus.

The Leader management company, which is a subsidiary of Gazprom, will be responsible for the operational work of the Baltika Fund. For the first time in Russian practice, a supervisory board has been created under the management company, whose competence includes control over how the company manages the fund's money. Mr. Bolloev became its head. In addition to him, the nine-member supervisory board included Alexey Mordashov, general director of the Severstal-group holding, Yury Lvov, a well-known St. Petersburg banker, Mikhail Boyarsky, People's Artist of Russia, and Valery Gergiev, artistic director and director of the State Academic Mariinsky Theater.

Some time later, it became clear what would be Bolloyev's preferences in the new post. So three of the seven sports complexes in Sochi, which were originally planned to be built with federal budget funds, were decided to be entrusted to private investors. The state corporation "Olympstroy" is negotiating with the Ural Mining and Metallurgical Company (UMMC) Iskandar Makhmudov on financing the construction of a small ice arena worth 1.033 billion rubles.

Gazprom, Interros, Basel, Alrosa, Russneft and Krasnaya Polyana OJSC, controlled by Akhmed Bilalov, Vice-Speaker of the Krasnodar Territory Legislative Assembly, are already participating in the Olympic construction project.

And in December 2009, reports appeared about Bolloev's personal interests, satisfied at the expense of public money. BTK Group has won a tender for the production of a uniform for Aeroflot. The contract with an estimated value of up to $ 16 million provides for the equipment of 3.5-4 thousand employees of the aircraft operator. The corporate colors will be dark blue (for men's and women's winter clothing) and "red tangerine" (summer version for flight attendants).

Taimuraz Bolloev was born on February 28, 1953 in the village of Donifars, North Ossetia, into a family of teachers. Graduated from the Agricultural College in Vladikavkaz. He served in the army.

In 1980 he graduated from the Moscow Technological Institute of the Food Industry with a degree in Fermentation Technology.
