    Cooking:

    • 4 potatoes;

    Thoroughly wash potatoes and carrots, pour vegetables with water and cook them until tender. Cool and peel off the skin. Separately, boil chicken eggs, cool them.

    We cut the products into cubes of the same size, the size of the cube should approximately correspond to a pea. You need to cut boiled beef (or sausage), pickles, boiled potatoes and carrots, boiled eggs. Mix everything, add green peas. Dress the salad with mayonnaise, pepper and salt to taste.

    Advice! If your pickles turned out to be soft and salty, then in the evening pour them with hot water, in which you dilute a spoon or two tomato paste or unsalted warmed tomato juice. On request in tomato juice you can add chopped garlic. After 8 hours of soaking, cucumbers will become crispy and lose excess salt.

    We chop the onion into thin halves of the rings. We wash cold water, squeeze out excess moisture. Put the meat and cucumbers in a salad bowl, distribute the onions on top.     Peel cooled vegetables, cut everything into small cubes. Cut the pickled cucumbers in the same way. We chop the onion very finely, if the onion is too sharp, then it is recommended to scald it with boiling water before adding it to the salad.

    Mix all vegetables, add peas or beans, add pre-squeezed sauerkraut.

    Another popular meat salad with pickles gets a funny name. It is prepared from boiled beef.

    • 300 gr. cold boiled beef;
    • 300 gr. carrots;
    • 400 gr. pickles;
    • 150 gr. lettuce red onion;

    We clean the onions and raw carrots. We chop the onion into very thin half rings, we rub the carrots on a special grater with a long straw.     German potato salad with smoked sausage and pickles

    • 3-4 potatoes;
    • 250 gr. smoked sausages;
    • 3 pickles;
    • 0.5 bulbs;
    • 0.5 fresh pod hot pepper(or to taste);
    • 0.5 bunch of fresh dill;
    • 2 cloves of garlic;
    • 2-3 tablespoons of vegetable oil;
    • 1 tablespoon of vinegar (preferably wine);
    • 0.5 cups of water.

    Boil potatoes without peeling. Then cool, peel and cut into fairly large cubes. We chop the onion into thin half rings and fill it with a mixture of water and vinegar (if desired, you can add a little sugar to the marinade). We stand the onion in the marinade for 10-20 minutes, then drain the liquid.

    We clean the sausages from the shell and cut into circles or halves of circles (depending on the diameter). We clean the hot pepper from seeds and chop very finely. The amount of pepper added to the salad is adjustable to taste.
