    I got the idea of ​​roasting cauliflower whole on American cooking websites. Because the I love much more than just boiled, then without delay, I created my own version of this a simple dish.     Ingredients

    • 1 medium head of cauliflower
    • 1/3

    Cooking cauliflower in the oven

    To start, wash the cabbage cold water, and if there are darkened or spoiled places, then they need to be cut off. Then remove all the leaves, if any, and then cut out the stalk. Approximately like this.

    It is better to remove the stalk, because it is too thick and may not be cooked, and then it seems that it is not eaten.

    Then take ground paprika. I can’t even say for sure how much paprika you will need (not to be confused with bitter red pepper!). Grate the prepared cabbage with this paprika so that it is so beautifully and evenly covered with it. I just rub with my hand - this is the surest way. And paprika doesn't bake, so don't be afraid.

    Why do I so strongly draw your attention that it was not red pepper: in my youth I thought that it was one and the same. Can you imagine the taste of a dish when a tablespoon of red pepper is put in it instead of a tablespoon of paprika?!

    Then brush paprika on top vegetable oil. Better, of course, olive.

    And then put the cabbage in a pan and send it to a well-heated oven (200-220 degrees). Let it bake. No need to cover or wrap in foil. Just the way you eat and bake.

    If you want it to “crunch”, then let it stand there for 45-50 minutes, and to be softer, then an hour is needed.

    While the cauliflower is baking in the oven, you can prepare the sauce for the cauliflower.

    To do this, mix the mustard with the juice of one lemon and two tablespoons of olive oil. And then add finely chopped greens to this sauce. Greens can be whatever you like - parsley, dill, cilantro, etc. And let him wait for our cabbage.

    After the oven, grease the head with herb sauce and you can serve.

    It can be eaten both hot and cold.
