    World of Warcraft 7.3 update

    New opportunities
    Argus

    Following recent events in the Broken Isles, a bond has developed between Azeroth and Argus, the homeworld of Keel 'the Jaeden, that has allowed the Burning Legion to get closer than ever to destroying Azeroth. To stop it once and for all, Illidan and Velen move the war to Argus itself, where they hope to join forces with Alleria, Turalyon and the Army of the Light and launch a decisive assault on the Legion's main base.

    Climb aboard the Vindicaar: this vessel will serve as your mobile base and become one of the few safe spots on Argus.

    As you explore Argus, you will visit new locations around the planet, take part in an epic legion storyline, unlock new World Quests and more.

    Invasion points

    Azeroth isn't the only world connected to this dangerous place. On Argus, you can teleport to other worlds using the portals used by the Burning Legion itself. There, you have to complete a scenario or defeat a boss to receive epic rewards.

    New Dungeon: Throne of the Triumvirate

    Once this temple was the heart of the ancient empire of the eredar, from where Velen, Archimonde and Keel "Jaeden ruled their people. Now the Throne is in ruins. Return with Velen to this sacred place, find an ancient relic and defeat the darkness that settled here. In the new a 5-man dungeon hidden among the ruins of Mac Ari on Argus, four new bosses await you:

    • Zuraal the Ascended

      • Zuraal is the result of the first successful experiment of the Dark Guard to create the broken, unconscious, charged with the energy of the Void. In a past life, Zuraal was a famous fighter, and now he willingly uses his newfound dark power against his enemies.

    • Sarpish

      • Sarpish carefully calculates all the moves of the Dark Guard in each upcoming battle. He is an experienced commander and a gifted strategist, but nevertheless he will never refuse to personally participate in the battle. Sarpish skillfully exploits the weaknesses of his opponents, leaving the defeated enemies at the mercy of his bloodthirsty minions.

    • Viceroy Nezhar

      • Viceroy Nezhar, like all of his kin, is obsessed with the idea of \u200b\u200bsubjugating the forces of the Abyss to satisfy their ambitions. He was attracted by the immense darkness hidden in the Seat of the Triumvirate, and Nezhar would stop at nothing to seize her power. The consequences of the viceroy's experiments with the energy of darkness and repositories for it, if successful, can be very sad.

    • Hurray

      • When Velen and his followers left Argus on the Genedar, the naaru L "hurray remained behind to cover the escape of the fugitives to give them time to leave. Keel" the Jaeden, furious at the betrayal of his former friend, ordered the wounded naaru to be imprisoned in the Seat of the Triumvirate. Millennia of captivity broke L "Uru, and she succumbed to the call of the Abyss. Her song of hope became a funeral cry of despair, beckoning those who vainly hope to take possession of her power.

    Updated features
    Argus World Quests

    As you explore Argus, you will unlock new world quests and meet emissaries who need your help.

    Configuring artifacts

    Harness the power of Argus and activate the Netherlight Crucible aboard the Vindicaar to upgrade the relics for your artifacts. The crucible enhances and customizes relics: directly increases their power and allows you to choose additional options, including the second artifact trait.

    Combat animation

    New and updated effects, animations and sounds will be added to all three mage specializations, all three priest specializations, elemental shaman specializations and healing. Updated the animation for Healing Druids.

    Class halls, defenders, and quests

    Your class hall and its defenders have played a key role in the defense of Azeroth, and now their efforts are needed on Argus. Dozens of new tasks and new types of units will appear at your disposal, and the item level of your defenders will increase to 950.

    Dungeons

    Item levels from Normal, Heroic, and Mythic dungeons have been increased by 20.

    • Normal: Item Level 845

    • Heroic: Item Level 865

    • Mythic: Item Level 885

    Mythic Keys can be rewarded with items of level 915 in the dungeon and item 935 in the weekly chest. In both cases, the maximum number is capped at 10 Mythic Keys. Later, this number will be increased to 15.

    The difficulty of Heroic and Mythic dungeons has been increased to match the improved rewards. The difficulty of regular dungeons remains the same.

    Pet fights

    Embark on the Cataclysm Raids for new Battle Pets for the much-anticipated achievement - Raiding with Leashes V: Catoclysm... Return to Blackwing Descent, Twilight Bastion, Throne of the Four Winds and Dragon Soul to gather a flock of elemental pets to brag about.

    According to intelligence reports, 18 legendary pet bosses have been spotted in various regions of Argus, and these small monsters have abilities that the inhabitants of Azeroth have not yet encountered, such as the frightening "Great Apocalypse". Moreover, there are about a dozen different tameable pets found on Argus, as well as several pets that can only be obtained using items and a new achievement "Protector of the Family".

    Professions on a new planet

    Professional development has taken Argus to the next level with new herbalism and mining resources, skinning and tailoring materials, and a personal reagent, Primal Sargerite. New profession-crafted items are available, as well as a new shoulder enchant that allows you to find materials unique to Argus.

    Following the recent events in the fishing world, six renowned NPCs have emerged. Visit the Riverhorn Shark, Corbina, Ilissia the Aquatic, Bessa, Keeper Rain or Sha "years to earn reputation, unlock new rewards, and ultimately earn the Fishing Friend achievement and reward a new Darklight Artifact Rod skin. ...

    Changes
    Achievements

    • Achievements Representative, 10 Tabards, and 25 Tabards now only require a certain number of Unique Tabards to be earned. You no longer need to wear them to get the achievement.

    Artifact Knowledge

    • Class halls now work together to improve knowledge of the artifact. From now on, knowledge about the artifact increases every week for everyone in the same way, and without the need to place orders.

    Classes

    • Avoidance has been reduced by 27% at all levels.

    • Death Knight

      • Ice magic

      • In this specialization, the interaction between Hungering Rune Weapon and Breath of Sindragosa left little room for variation. We changed the values \u200b\u200bin this combo and increased the overall damage to compensate. The result should be a more competitive talent structure. All three level 100 talents have been adjusted to improve balance and play better. Using the Hungering Rune Weapon ability still requires planning, but it shouldn't take a lot of resources.

        • All damage increased by 14%.

        • The Hungering Rune Weapon ability has been moved to a level 100 row, replacing Ice Charge, which is now at a level 58 row.

        • Sindragosa's Breath damage increased by 10%.

        • Hungering Rune Weapon duration reduced to 12 seconds. (previously 15 sec.). The ability additionally increases haste by 20%.

        • Havage duration increased to 10 seconds. (previously 8 sec.).

        • While the Havoc talent is active, Killing Machine will also be triggered by Howling Wind (in addition to Frost Strike).

      • The combination of these changes reduces the Ice Specialization's tendency to over-resource in many talent / Legendary gear ratios.

        • The cooldown of the Winter Horn ability has been increased to 45 seconds. (previously 30 sec.).

        • The chance to trigger the ability "Murderous Effectiveness" has been reduced to 50% (was 65%).

        • Koltira's Newfound Determination generates 1 Rune (was 2) and increases the damage of Obliterate by 10%.

      • The following talents have changed places in the talent tree for more variety and balance of possible options... This requires targeted balance changes.

        • Runic Fade is now at 56th level, Killing Efficiency is now at 57th, and Tides of Cold is now at 90th.

        • The effect of the talent "Frosty Mist" has been reduced to 20% (previously 30%).

        • Cold Surge damage reduced by 39%.

        • The bonus from the Ice Claws talent has been increased to 15% (previously 10%).

        • The bonus from the talent "Breaking blows" is increased to 60% (previously 40%).

      • Several level 75 support talents will be more effective where there is a comparative lack of mobility for the Ice specialization.

        • When using Unstable Shield, the Anti-Magic Shell ability generates 100% more Runic Power (previously no Runic Power was generated). The spell no longer deals damage.

        • White Walker has been replaced by a new talent, Continuous Onslaught: if there are no enemies near you within 8 meters in a battle, you gain a charge of Continuous Onslaught every second. Each charge adds additional Frost damage to your next normal attack.

    • Druid

      • All specializations

        • Mass Entanglement now affects an area within 15 meters of the target.

        • Crouching Beast cooldown reduced to 6 seconds. (previously 10 sec.).

        • Rebirth can now be used in all skins.

      • The strength of the beast

      • The Feral Specialization update is intended to address two goals: to reduce the dominance of complex talents such as Wild Roar, Tear Wounds, and Bloody Claws, and to reduce the difference in damage between mastering the specialization and playing it perfectly. The Feral specialization has traditionally required the player to be experienced, and we have no intention of changing that, but these changes should make the specialization easier to learn and less difficult for those still learning.

        • All damage increased by 33%.

        • The increase in damage from Blood Claws has been reduced to 20% (was 50%). The ability is now triggered by Wrath of Trees.

        • The cooldown of Elune's Guide has been reduced to 30 seconds. (previously 45 sec.), and the number of combo moves received has been reduced to 5 + 5 for 5 sec. (previously 5 + 8 for 8 sec.).

        • Fixed an issue with Incarnation: King of the Jungle, which resulted in the additional cost of Ferocious Bite to 25. energy did not decrease by 50% as intended.

        • Incarnation: King of the Jungle now allows Creeping Beast to be used in battle only once during its duration, and reduces the cost of all Cat Form abilities by 50% (was 60%).

        • Rip Wounds now allows Rip, Gore, and Thrash to deal the same damage, but for a 20% reduction in time (was 33%).

        • The bonus damage to abilities based on Moment of Clarity has been increased to 20% (up from 15%) and now affects Brutal Slash.

        • Predatory Swiftness no longer affects or is absorbed by Rebirth.

        • The additional damage of Ferocious Bite from Sabretooth has been increased to 20% (up from 15%).

        • The duration of the Wild Roar has been increased by 50% at all levels of combo moves, and the bonus to damage has been reduced to 15% (previously 25%).

        • Torn Flesh (Artifact Trait) now increases the damage dealt by Rake by 6% (was 7%) per rank.

      • The following talents have changed places in the talent tree for more variety and balance of possible options.

        • Elune's Guidance has been moved to level 100, swapping places with Brutal Claw Slash now at level 90.

        • Ripped Wounds (Talent) moved to level 75, swapping places with Wild Roar, now at level 90.

      • The rhythm of the area attacks should be more consistent with the rest of the Feral specialization.

        • The amount of energy spent on Swipe has been reduced to 40. (previously 45 units).

        • Thrash has been reduced to 45 energy. (previously 50 units).

        • Thrash now adds 1 combo point if it hits the target.

      • The "Wild Roar" is in most cases constantly supported, so "increasing damage from attacks throughout their duration" brought more complexity than interest to the gameplay. In comparison, Tiger's Fury and Bloody Claws, due to their limitations, still add their own flavor.

        • Savage Roar now dynamically increases damage from damage over time effects based on whether or not it was active at the time the damage was dealt. Previously, abilities with periodic damage dealt it for the entire duration of their action, regardless of the presence of "Wild Roar" at the time of the damage. Tiger's Fury and Bloody Claws still work.

    • Hunter

      • The Porcupine family has been renamed the Rodent.

    • Monk

      • dancing with the Wind

        • Rush of Jade Wind damage increased by 22%.

      • Versatility now affects almost all sources of damage, and these two should have been no exception.

        • Mortal Touch damage is now affected by Versatility.

        • Law of Karma damage is now affected by Versatility.

    • Paladin

      • The Paladin Mount Vendor now sells a glyph that allows paladins to transform their Divine Steed into a class mount.

      • Blessing of Sacrifice should now properly prevent the paladin's health from dropping below 20%.

        • Developer Comment: This Blessing of Sacrifice fix is \u200b\u200bintended to address an issue that caused it to reduce health below the target limit and sometimes even kill a character. The ability should now work as intended.

      • Retribution

      • Traits and Legendary items that enhance the Holy War talent will remain quite effective, but will not stand out as much as before.

        • Damage dealt by all abilities increased by 6%.

        • Thrain's Chain now stacks correctly with Holy War.

        • The gain from the Wrath of the Ashbringer trait has been reduced to 2 seconds. per rank (previously 2.5 seconds).

        • The effect of Mastery on Judgment damage has been increased by 46%, and on the debuffs of Judgment by 17%.

        • Death Sentence damage reduced by 17%.

        • The amplification from the Sword of the Righteous trait has been reduced to 4% per rank (previously 5%).

        • Unyielding Will no longer triggers while under the effect of Canister of Sleep Gas.

      • Protection

      • Now, in terms of damage per second and survivability, the difference between development options with and without the Seraphim talent should be significantly reduced. Development without "Seraphim" adds more damage, and development with "Seraphim" does not reduce defense as much as before.

        • Seraphim cooldown increased to 45 seconds. (previously 30 sec.).

        • Damage from the following spells and abilities is increased by 8%: Avenger's Shield, Judgment, Hammer of the Righteous, Blessed Hammer, Consecration, Shield of the Righteous, and Eye of Tyr.

        • Bastion of the Silver Hand now grants 35% armor (up from 20%).

    • Shaman

      • The elements

        • Earthquake damage increased by 19%.

        • Static Overload has been redesigned: After using the Keeper of Storms, your next Chain Lightning applies Elemental Excitement to each target.

      • Elemental Adepts can still perform powerful AoE attacks, but we want to make their single target damage slightly more visible.

        • Damage dealt by all abilities is increased by 6% (excluding Chain Lightning).

        • Earth Shock damage increased by 7%.

        • Frost Shock damage increased by 13%.

      • These changes give the Elemental Specialization more opportunities to be enhanced with Mastery until it reaches the 100% Proc Rating.

        • Elemental Strike damage increased by 7%.

        • Elemental Strike now increases stats by 2000 at level 110 (was 2400).

        • Elemental Surge now deals 85% of base damage (down from 75%) and its proc chance has been reduced by 17%.

        • Totem Lord: The bonus from Storm Totem has been reduced to 5% (was 10%).

    • Warlock

      • Health Stone now restores 25% health at all levels.

    Introduction

    Seven years ago, at Blizzcon 2009, the Cataclysm expansion was announced. Among all those innovations that awaited players, was announced the "Way of the Titans", a new system of character development at the highest level. The little that was shown spoke of the trees (or rather circles) of talent, which were revealed as various tasks, including those related to archeology, were completed. Those who play longer remember how it ended. Path of the Titans was cut from the release of the third expansion pack for the game.

    Apparently, the developers decided to return to the topic of the additional branch of character development, of course, with some adjustments. Indeed, we have a “closed” talent tree that needs to be developed. These talents guarantee some special abilities that can be enhanced. In general, in some respects, the concept was continued.

    The main thing about artifacts:

    • each spec gets its own artifact weapon (except for a fishing artifact, which will be available to everyone);
    • you can get an artifact by completing a quest that will reveal the unique features of your class and tell about important characters in the world;
    • an artifact is your main weapon in Legion, you will not have another (or rather, you will, but only to complete the starting scenario on the Broken Isles and quests to obtain the first artifact);
    • artifact traits increase various class abilities, while relics improve certain traits and increase weapon ilvl;
    • the power of artifacts is increased through the Power of the artifact (Artifact Power, AP), the discovery of traits and Relics that can be installed in the sockets available on the weapon;
    • Artifact Knowledge (AK) is a system that helps players progress faster with off-spec artifacts. You can get all the artifacts for your class in the Bulwark;
    • artifacts have different appearance and color, which can be discovered through different activities. You will have the opportunity to transmog an artifact, but other weapons cannot take the shape and colors of the artifact;
    • pumping an artifact is strongly tied to the Class Hall, so to increase the Knowledge of an artifact, you need to place orders in the Hall for the corresponding resource.

    How do I get an artifact?

    Everything is very simple. After the scenario, which takes place on the Broken Isles, you will immediately be given a quest in Dalaran. I passed her as a hunter. After choosing an artifact, another quest was received for execution in the scenario and at the first stage we had to save Alleria Windrunner. At the end of the script, a "harvesting" of a bow without traits was given. At the last stage, I was sent to the class hall, where the artifact acquired traits. Actually nothing special, just follow the directions.

    Bleeding and customization of artifacts

    Artifact power

    Traits become available as you receive the Artifact Power (hereinafter AR). This is not a currency that you collect and spend, it looks more like an exp. As you get it, you use it to unlock a new artifact trait. Artifact power can be obtained through various usable items (for example, Dalaran Wine Glass, Brief History of the Aeons, Brief History of the Ages).

    The interface has a bar (above the experience bar) that shows how close you are to unlocking the next trait.

    Items that allow you to get the Power of an artifact are obtained in the following ways:

    • main quests / world quests;
    • world quest chests;
    • hidden treasures;
    • random dungeons of normal and heroic difficulty;
    • drop from bosses in dungeons, raids, world bosses, rarniks;
    • class Hall missions;
    • victory on the battlefield;
    • victories in arenas;

    Having received such an item, click on it to add the Power of the artifact to the weapon that you are currently wearing. If you want to add power to another artifact weapon, then you must first put it on and only then use the item. The strength of an artifact is a parameter that is tied to a specific weapon and does not apply to artifacts for other specs. Knowledge of an artifact is an attribute that you can pump and, as a result, increase the rate of obtaining the power of artifacts from most sources.

    Artifact traits

    Artifact traits are special abilities that unlock over time on an artifact weapon. Each trait requires a certain amount of Artifact Power. Each subsequent trait will require more and more Artifact Power. Each weapon has an Artifact Ability that can be unlocked and that guarantees an additional spell, usually with a powerful effect. Some of them are passive, but for most specs these will be active spells that can be used. These spells are displayed in the information summary above each artifact.

    Traits, for the most part, are passive abilities that improve your class's abilities. Let's say they increase the damage from ability X by a certain amount. In order to see which traits are inherent in your artifact, press the Shift-clie combination with the right mouse button on your artifact weapon. Remember that choosing new traits for your weapon can only be done at the Artifact Forge in Class Hall.

    Traits have levels from 1 to 3. To get a new level, you need to invest in the trait the Power of an artifact. Relics add "bonus" levels to a specific artifact trait. This trait can be enhanced by a maximum of 6 levels. Additional levels of artifacts that add relics do not require Artifact Power.

    You must maximize the trait (up to 3rd level) to continue unlocking traits further. A total of 34 points are available to invest in the Trait Tree of an artifact and the path along which you will open traits depends only on your choice. After all, when you get all 34 points, you will maximize all the traits on your artifact weapon. Several traits are framed in the shape of a golden dragon. These traits greatly enhance your class abilities (more than a regular trait).

    After getting all 34 points for your weapon, you will have access to a "bonus" trait with 20 levels. This Bonus Trait increases damage. More about this trait is described in the subsection below.

    Resetting and reallocating trait points

    You can respawn / redistribute your traits (by dropping and reassigning points) for a certain price. Respec costs the same artifact Power as the next point to invest in your trait tree. For example, you have invested 18 points in your artifact tree and you want to reset and reassign them. To do this, you must give as much Artifact Power as is required to buy the 19th point for the trait tree - 24000 Artifact Power. This procedure will restore you 18 points, which you can spend on traits. It should be remembered that you will not restore the Forces of the artifact, only points.

    Since the cost of reproducing your artifact weapon is high, it won't be as beneficial. And in the end, you will unlock all the traits for your artifact. The sequence in how you do it doesn't really matter.

    Trait perks

    The total number of trait levels you acquire increases the amount of stamina +/- damage dealt (up to the 34th point of your artifact trait tree). Healing and tank specs get 0.75% + 1% damage dealt for each open trait (25.5% stamina and 34% damage dealt on max artifact weapons). Discipline priests, as hybrid damage / healers, receive 0.75% stamina and 0.5% damage dealt per trait, resulting in 25.5% increased stamina and 17% damage on fully leveled artifact weapons. Damagers get 0.75% stamina per trait, which increases stamina by 25.5% on a fully leveled artifact.

    Trait cost

    Below is a table showing the cost of trait points. The increase in the amount of Power of an artifact occurs exponentially.

    Bonus trait

    The bonus trait becomes available if you have earned all 34 points for the main artifact weapon. As mentioned above, the Bonus has 20 levels and investments in it increase damage, healing and armor (depending on the spec). The system is broadly similar to the Paragons in Diablo III.

    The 14th trait requires a significant amount of AP (6480) - more than the previous thirteen (6500). Keep this in mind if you plan on playing the second spec regularly. You can choose to pump the second artifact before continuing to pump the main one. The number of ARs required to pump artifacts:

    First 13 points in the main tree:

    • for one artifact - 6,500 AR
    • for two - 13,000 AP
    • for three - 19,500 AR
    • for four - 26,000 AR

    All 34 points

    • for one artifact - 5,216,130 AR
    • for two - 10,432,260 AR
    • for three - 15,648,390 AR
    • for four - 20,864,520 AR

    All levels 1-20 for bonus artifacts: 60,040,200
    Fully Max Weapon: 65,256,330

    Knowledge of an artifact increases the amount of Artifact Power that you can receive per day, which will significantly reduce the pumping time. At the maximum level of Knowledge of the artifact, the amount of Power of the artifact increases by 6850%. More details - in the "Knowledge of the artifact" section.

    Artifact relics

    A relic is an item whose mechanics are similar to how old meta stones worked. When a relic is inserted into an artifact socket, it has two functions:

    • increases the ilvl of the artifact (increases the main and secondary stats);
    • adds a bonus to a specific artifact trait.

    The artifact has three relic slots, two of which are available immediately after you receive the weapon. The third slot is initially closed and will open after you complete the Class Hall quest line.

    There are several types of relics and each artifact has a unique combination of slots that are related to a specific theme. For example, a Shadowpistle weapon has two Shadow and one Blood relic slots, while a frostmage weapon has two Ice slots and one Arcane. There are ten types of relics in total:

    • Arcane magic;
    • Blood;
    • Filth;
    • Fire;
    • Iron;
    • Shine;
    • A life;
    • Shadow;
    • Storm.

    Not all specs can benefit from a specific relic - it all depends on what slots your weapon has. Relics are divided according to quality in the same way as items - unusual, rare and epic. They are rewarded for completing quests, dropped from mobs in the open world and from bosses in all types of dungeons, from 5ppl to raid and world. In addition, relics can be crafted. Most often, quests give relics of an unusual and rare quality, which have a chance to accidentally upgrade to something of a higher quality, for example, instead of an unusual one, you will receive a rare relic. Some crafting relics related to the worlddrop can be BoE and, accordingly, they can be sold at the auction, where a special tab is made for them.

    Requirements for relics may vary. For example, an item with a level 670 will need a level above 100, and a relic with a level 730 can only be used by a character of at least level 105. In general, the ilvl of relics ranges from 670 - 895.

    Relics that drop as personal loot guarantee a set of characteristics that match your class and spec.

    Relics cannot be removed and reinserted. Similar to gems, they are destroyed when removed or replaced.

    Each relic has an ilvl. At the start of the expansion, it will fluctuate between 670-895. The higher the level of the relic, the more it will increase the level of the artifact. For example, a level 850 relic will upgrade your artifact by 43 levels, while a crafted level 805 relic - by 31. Relics dropped from bosses can randomly receive +5 additional units to the possible level of the artifact. Any Titanforged item can raise its level by more than 15 points.

    The starting level of the artifact is 750 and this level will increase if you insert relics into the sockets. The maximum possible level of artifact weapons is 918.

    Knowledge of the artifact

    Knowledge of an artifact raises the possible amount of Artifact Power (AR) that you can receive daily. An increase in the number of daily AR is possible only after reaching level 110. There you will receive two quests that will allow you to open the Orders for Artifact Knowledge in the Class Hall. The quests will also tell about the history of the artifacts - as you progress, you will need books in which this will be revealed.

    One Order will be available on the release, which will be completed within 5 days. However, later this period will be reduced and it will also depend on how much the character has progressed. The cost of completing an order is 500 units of Order resources. In other words, every five days there will be an opportunity to increase the Knowledge of the artifact by 1 level. There are 25 levels of these levels. Each level will increase the amount of available AP, obtained from different sources. The first level is to boost AR by 25%, and at the 25th level - 24.000%. It should be noted that you should not stack items that increase AP. You will receive an increase for the level of Knowledge of the artifact that was in effect at the time of receiving the item. Knowledge of the artifact will work for all weapons to make it easier to level up for the off-guard. Moreover, this rule applies only to one character, and not the entire account.

    The table, which indicates how much AR will be increased at a certain level of Artifact Knowledge, is given below.

    Artifact knowledge level Artifact Strength (AR) Artifact knowledge level Artifact Strength (AR) Artifact knowledge level Artifact Strength (AR) Artifact knowledge level Artifact Strength (AR)

    In general, that's all. How to change the appearance of artifacts is described in.

    Good morning dear readers. Today is Friday, and Blizzard has prepared a lot of news for us - which means a lot of interesting reading for you.

    Remember how you rejoiced when the last order to research the Artifact Knowledge ended. Mission of fulfillment. You don't have to think: to hand over, not to hand over the quest, to loot, not to loot the chest ... But we only have to rejoice until the release of patch 7.3.

    Because in patch 7.3 Blizzard again adds 10 ranks of Artifact Knowledge up to 50. Initially, 50 ranks were planned, but the developers changed their minds - they decided to delay the pleasure.

    • Rank 41 FOR gives + 5.2cc% to the Power of the Artifact.
    • 50 rank FOR gives + 55.2kk% to the Power of the Artifact.

    There's just one big plus: you don't have to place orders anymore. Every week you will receive 1 rank automatically. Additionally, all characters will start the game at rank 41 following the release of patch 7.3. "To catch up" the level of the Alto Artifact to the optimal level will not present any problems.

    In the new build number 24500 for patch 7.3, Blizzard continues to add content. The backbone is crude and very unfinished - updates are gradually overgrown with interesting things.

    • Bonuses for T21 sets have been introduced: for now, pure placeholders.
    • The Deep Sea Emerald, which unlocks the secret Fisherman's Artifact skin, will be a reward for establishing good relations with the secret anglers of the Broken Isles. One of them is (it was first introduced, and then immediately removed - because early).
    • The first world quests of Argus are available for completion.
    • Introduced a legendary ring, which increases the effectiveness of the new Artifact enhancement mechanic from patch 7.3 by 50%.

    And also added interesting accessories: Essence of Fharg and Essence of Shatug. These trinkets transform you into creatures, increasing versatility and armor. And the effect is noticeably increased if the adjacent tank is also turned into the opposite entity. Such is the combo bundle for tanks.

    New NPC voiceovers from the patch:

    Patch 7.3 will also add 4 sets of armor that are not T21. These are leather, rag, chain and plate armor, elements of which can probably be knocked out in the new dungeon - the Seat of the Triumvirate. Or maybe get it as a reward for some achievement: the update files contain “kits” that allow you to get a certain set of the Triumvirate for transmogrification.

    A very cool mount - Lightforged Golem. The unique animation of "hand firing" kind of tells us: the gun in hand is purely for decoration. And why? Why can't you slap demons out of it?

    What to do on the day of the release of patch 7.3

    Week number 1

    Things to do on the day of patch 7.3:

    • Start the Argus Campaign by visiting Dalaran. You will automatically receive the quest Hand of Fate (Alliance / Horde).
    • After completing the quest chain for week # 1, you will gain access to the locations of Krokuun and the Antorus Wastes, unlock new world quests on Argus, quests for professions, and envoys of new factions - the Defenders of Argus and the Army of the Light.
    • After the quest Gift of Light, start a side quest in Class Hall (Supplies from the Looming Shadow Ridge) to unlock new equipment, more token tier for champions, new unit types.
    • Artifact Knowledge is now passive, and all players will reach level 41 Artifact Knowledge, obtaining it 4 times faster than usual. Those who need Legionfall Consistency or other traits will be able to get them pretty quickly.
    • If you have an artifact weapon on the viola that did not do many tasks, the artifact's progress will go faster. You don't need the Class Hall campaign to unlock the third relic, nor do you need the Broken Shore campaign for the Empowered Artifact Talents. Just insert some relics and keep discovering new talents.
    • For PvP lovers - a new season and new equipment.

    Week number 2

    Patch 7.3 Week 2 Things to Do

    • Continue through the Dark Awakening quest chain, in which you will learn the continuation of events on Argus (more specifically, in Krokuun and Mac'Aree). This questline will unlock 2 new Matrix Core features, and will also unlock World Quests in Nath'rax and Mac'Aree Keep.
    • Complete quests in new locations unlocked during the passage of the main story. This will earn you reputation with the Argussian Reach and will allow you to achieve Revered with this faction more quickly - rewarding you with the Crokul Flute, which will make it easier to navigate the new world.
    • At the end of the Argus campaign in week two, Invasion Points will become available. To unlock Massive Invasion Points and unlock local bosses, complete the Where We Don't Wait and Invasion Point Attack.
    • Gather a group to destroy local bosses - maybe you're lucky and you will receive your level 930 loot. Remember that the Seal of Broken Fate increases the chances of getting it.
    • Travel to Mac'Aree to unlock local teleporters and make it easier to navigate Argus.
    • Complete the Argus Research achievement to travel faster within Argus.
    • Continue on the Class Hall Questline, Ruins of Oranaar to obtain the Mac'Aree Equipment, the Abyssal Crokul, and the Mac'Aree Quest.
    • Complete the Arcatraz special questline to unlock another Matrix Core ability.
    • Also, don't forget about the weekly tasks and Stop the invasion.

    What to start doing with an eye to the future?

    Here are some tips on what long-term projects to start with the release of patch 7.3:

    • Send to the Antorus Wastes location and open special beacons to travel quickly across Argus.
    • Farm new currency (Smoky Argunite) to spend on level 910 equipment from vendors.
    • Follow the Argus campaign questline (You are now ready!) To keep up with the opening of the Netherlight Crucible and Dungeon.
    • Gathering professions can start farming new materials for Argus recipes: Astral Glory, Empyrial, Fiendish Leather, and Light Cloth.
    • Crafters can start a quest line to learn new recipes on the Vindicaar. Some of these missions will lead to Mac'Aree's location in a couple of weeks.
    • Level up your reputation with the Argussian Reach and the Army of the Light factions to get mounts with turnip level requirements.

    Week number 2 (from 6.09):

    • Go through the main quest line to always be ready to unlock new content - dungeons and Netherlight Crucible.
    • Keep farming reputation with the Army of the Light and the Argussian Reach. World Quests opening in Week 2 will earn you a lot of reputation with Argussian Reach. In addition, do not forget about the buffs from the Darkmoon Fair - they will boost your reputation faster.
    • Collect a Felstained Egg and wait - maybe your reward will be one of the new mounts or pets.
    • Work on the achievements needed for the Ideal of Argus and Shoot right away, loot later. As you gain new abilities of the Matrix Core, you will be able to find and open more chests for the second achievement.
    • Destroy any Rarniks you come across to earn the Argus Commander achievement (remember that your reward for your efforts will be the Ensemble: Lightforged Weapon).
    • The fishermen have plenty to do too - cast your line into the waters of Argus to fish for Pond Wren, and keep farming your reputation for the Darklight Emerald.

    Content coming later

    The content of patch 7.3 is somewhat stretched over time - it will open gradually. All content of patch 7.3 will be available by the beginning of the third week after the release of the patch.

    • After week # 2 of the Argus campaign, players will be able to unlock Invasion Points. Complete Starter Quests 1 and 2 to unlock the Great Invasion Points where you can fight the Argus World Bosses.
    • Weeks # 2 and # 3 will also open up the Mac'Aree location and world quests, as well as new world quests in Krokuun.
    • When the Argus campaign ends in week # 3, players will have the opportunity to enhance the artifact talents in Netherlight Crucible.
    • Completing the campaign on Argus will unlock the Throne of the Triumvirate dungeon.

    Patch 7.3 description and trailer

    Patch 7.3 trailer:

    Official Survival Guide in Patch 7.3 WOW (video in English, Russian subtitles available):

    The opening cutscene of the Argus campaign (Velen and Illidan) was shown at Gamescom 2017. You can watch it below and wait for it to appear in the game.

    Argus locations

    Argus and Vindicaar

    The planet Argus consists of three locations: Krokuun, Mac'Aree, and Antorus Wastes. The main quest hub of patch 7.3 will be the draenei ship, on which players will arrive to Argus.

    • The Vindicaar ship and the planet Argus can be unlocked by completing the quest chain starting with Hand of Fate (Alliance / Horde).
    • Completing certain stages of the campaign on Argus will unlock new World Quests. Completing these quests will gain reputation with The Army of the Light and the Argussian Reach.
    • As you progress through the Argus campaign, you will unlock special beacons that will allow you to quickly move around the location. Between two beacons or the Vindicaar, you can teleport instantly and for free.
    • Argus is home to many rare monsters, treasure chests, and world quests that reward Veiled Argunite currency. For it, you can buy equipment from merchants in Vindicaar.

    Krokuun

    • The first 2 stages of the Argus campaign take place in the Krokuun location. After completing the quest Child of Light and Darkness, you will unlock tasks for the profession and quartermasters of new factions.
    • World quests that open in week # 1: Krokuun, Petrified Forest, and Antorus Wastes. The Order Hall of the class missions is also unlocked by completing quests in Krokuun.
    • The deadly gizmos in Krokuun are Fel-Reaver (similar to Kingaroth Destroyer) and Corrupted Tornado.

    Antorus Wastes

    This location is more free to explore than Krokuun. It has fewer campaign-related quests and more rare creatures and collectibles.

    • World Quests in the Antorus Wastes only grant reputation with the Army of the Light.
    • The entrance to the raid dungeon is located in the Antorus Wastes.
    • Players can turn in the Invisible Demon Eye item to the NPC Oryx the All-Seer and receive rewards like Cross Gazer and Eye of the All-Seer.

    Mc'Aree

    This location was previously considered the pearl of Argus - the culture of the Eredar flourished here. Previously in the game, this area was mentioned twice: "The Lilac Hills of Mac'Aree" and Jessera of Mc'Aree.

    On the territory of the location, there are many historically important tasks, as well as cinematic inserts and flashbacks that tell the story of the fall of the Eredar and the escape of Velen.

    A portion of Mc'Aree's story became available on September 6, while the final segment of this story will open on September 13.

    • World Quests in this area earn reputation with Argussian Reach.
    • The entrance to the Throne of the Triumvirate dungeon is located in Mac'Aree.

    Improvements and changes to content

    Dungeons

    • A new dungeon in patch 7.3 - Throne of the Triumvirate - will be added to the game after the campaign on Argus ends (after week # 3).
    • The base damage and health of monsters in Heroic, Mythic, and Mythic + dungeons have been increased. At the same time, the rewards for completing these dungeons have also been improved.
    • Players only need +10 Keys to get the maximum rewards from the weekly chest (the reward level has been increased to 935).

    Equipment

    Some improvements for dressing violas in 7.3:

    • The item level in dungeons has been raised: 845 in normals, 865 in heroics, and 885 in mythic dungeons.
    • World Quests now scale to a maximum of 895 item level.
    • New level 110 players automatically receive a passive Artifact Lore and no longer have to go through the 1-40 lore chain.
    • You no longer need to complete the Order Hall Campaign and Broken Shore to unlock the third Artifact Relic and Empowered Talents slot.
    • New Heirloom Neck Item - Man'ari Training Amulet.
    • 2 types of tokens on Argus: Unsullied tokens - dropped from rarniks, chests and given for Invasion Points; Dropped Tokens - Buy for 650 Veiled Argunites (new currency).
    • New crafted gear starts at level 885 and can be upgraded to 935 through the Primal Annihilate.
    • Starting from week # 2, world bosses at Invasion Points will drop level 930 items.

    Artifacts

    Artifacts have been improved in appearance, talents, artifact lore, and a third relic slot.

    • For new artifacts, the slot for the third relic will be immediately opened.
    • The 2nd, 3rd and 4th coloring of the secret appearance of the artifact will be unlocked after you complete the requirements for them after getting this artifact skin (previously it was necessary that the requirements were met, while the artifact is equipped). Thus, it became easier to get new coloring pages.
    • The knowledge of the artifact is now passive and even new level 110 players will have as many PRs as experienced raiders.

    Classes

    Some casters have reworked the animation - restor for druids, mages, shamans and priests.

    The Feral Druids and Frost DK received a lot of changes in patch 7.3. Changes to other classes are expected in patch 7.3.5.

    Class Hall Champions

    Champions received many improvements and innovations, as well as new mechanics.

    • Companion items can now be leveled up to 950 using the following sets: Crokul Armor Set, Mac'ari Armor Set, Xenodar Set. Past kits no longer work.
    • The quest chain starting with the Riders quest (opens on allotment # 1) will require you to complete several missions in the stronghold. After completion, new missions and new equipment for champions will open.
    • Access to new units is opened through chains:
